When you wander in the fragrant campus of peach and plum, you are presented with a new picture of life, and the mileage of life has opened a new page. Here, you will have the best time of your life, and everything here will bee the most precious memory of your life. This is the palace of seeking knowledge and the harbour of realizing the ideal of life. Everyone may sail from here to sueed and bee an elite, or may sink here, lose oneself and bee mediocre. My first sentence is to start as a human being. Learning to be a person is fundamental, it is the premise of doing things and learning, so the most important. Learn to be a man, we must love freedom, but not at will; we must publicize our personality, but we can not admire ourselves alone; we must think independently, but not self-righteously; we must have lofty aspirations, but not high-spirited. My second sentence is to make excellence a habit. Aristotle once said, Each of us is shaped by our repeated actions. Because excellence is not an act, but a habit. If we can make excellence a habit in our study and life, and make excellence an attitude and value orientation of life, we will surely be able to firmly grasp suess in our hands. In todays era, with the rapid development of science and technology and the rapid development of society, making excellence a habit requires us to maintain a tireless spirit of learning, to maintain the belief and will to pursue excellence and to create first-class courageously, and to seek truth and pragmatism, modesty and prudence, to work hard, to seize the day and night, and to dare to aept new ideas. To absorb new ideas, broaden new horizons and explore new methods, we need confidence and courage to break through our predecessors, explore the unknown and never give up in the face of difficulties, and desire and passion to pursue true knowledge, catch up with the wave of scientific development and be good at fantastic ideas. My third sentence is: Look up at the stars, confident for a hundred years. Premier Wen once said that only when a nation has some people who care about the sky can they have hope. He hopes that students will look up to the sky regularly and bee a person who cares about the destiny of the world and the country. You should be concerned about social development, human destiny and the suffering of the people. You should set up the ambition of benefiting the people through the world, cherish the great love of benefiting the people, bravely assume responsibility for the country, the nation and the society, closely link your own development with the direction of the times, and be fortunate for the countrys prosperity, national rejuvenation and the people.
