That way, all of his daughters will be cared for. A:Wont they get his inheritance? B:No, thats the problem. Though they are well-off, once he dies, his house will go to his cousin. So, when he dies, the girls will have nothing. A:I see. This sounds interesting! Maybe my teacher isnt so horrible after all. B:So ,are you going to read the novel or watch the movie? A:Theres movie? My teacher didnt tell me that! B:Thats probably because she wants you to read the book first. A:It would take a lot less time. B:How about this. When you finish the book. Ill get the movie and watch it with you. A:Ok. That sounds like a deal. A:What are you reading about in that science magazine? B:There are several interesting articles on recent scientific breakthroughs. I just finished reading one about cloning. A:Im not sure I like the idea of that. I dont want people copying me or other people. It could be very confusing. B:Aording to the article, you have no real need to worry. Research nowadays is focussing on cloning parts of a human body to replace damaged or lost parts, not on recreating a whole human. A:In the future, that could be possible. B:In this article, scientists say that if you took the genes from someone and tried to create a copy of a person, theres no guarantee that the copy would look or act like the original! A:Really? What else have you discovered? B:I read about how scientists are using material from plants and animals to create new medicines. For example, an animal be immune to disease that affects human. So, scientists find out why its immune A:Thats great, because it uses natural materials rather than ones that scientists make themselves. I prefer natural remedies to man-made ones. A:What are you reading? B:Its an article about language. It talks about the idea of having a single global language. A:It seems that English already is the main global language. Does the article suggest that there should be an artificial language like Esperanto as the world language. B:Actually, it suggest English. The main argument is that English is already being studied as a second language in most countries-china, India, mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, and japan so beginning again A:Does the article say anything about other language?
