Before the choice is made, I think it is necessary to point out that we need a person who can doengineering job well. As an engineer or a technician, the person to be chosen must have a solideducational foundation , must be capable of expressing his ideas both in speaking andwriting. In addition , he mu st be hard-working. Good record of his previous work is also veryimportant because it serves as an objective evaluation of his past career. After giving a careful consideration to the problem, I have finally decided to offer each ofthem an equal opportunity to work for a proba tion period of three months. By then, I think Iwill be able to select the one who best fits the position.
