Module 8 PhotosUnit 1 Its the band which gets everyone dancing.课型:听说课【学习目标】1.知识目标:能正确理解并使用下列单词、词组和句子: trouble expect enter pick up on the left/right get on Hes the photographer who won the photo competition last time. / Its the band which gets everyone dancing. / You bet!/ How did you get on?/ Im in with a chance to win.等。2.能力目标:1)能够听懂含有定语从句的句子,理解描述信息2)能够运用定语从句描写经历、比赛等。3)通过学习对话掌握which ,who引导的定语从句。3.情感目标:通过摄影作品培养审美意识,培养对他人的欣赏态度。【教学重难点】: 对含有which, who引导的定语从句的理解和运用。【教学过程】课前朗读: 朗读trouble, shot, kid, expect, pick up, at the back, at the front , band , blues, dance, concert, drums, guitar, loud, on the left/right sing等单词。根据音标读出单词并了解汉语意思,养成学生自主学习词汇的习惯,促使学生迅速进入学习状态。检查词汇预习:a.采取学生结对、小组互查等形式来检查学生对词汇的预习情况。b.朗读单词,注意发音。一、情境导入教师出示有关演唱会的图片,然后问学生:What are they doing? Did you go to the concert? Do you want to go to the concert? Why? 通过回答问题引起学生的学习兴趣,调动学生用英语思维的积极性, 通过小组间互相对话导入新课。二、小听力(自主完成,合作释疑)1. Activity 1,展示一张有关音乐会的图片,采用两人对话的形式,让学生说出“Where is it?” “Whats happening?” ,描述时可以使用activity 1提供的单词,这样可以为下面的听力做准备。2. Activity 2, Listen and check the words as you hear them. 如果学生找不出来,可以再听一遍。三、大听力 多层听1. 为了达到对对话大意的理解,,听Activity 3第一遍并判断正误(T or F )1) Tony can get better shots at first. ( )2) He Zhong is the photographer who won the photo competition last time ( )3) Tonys camera is in his bag ( )4) Tonys father is the person who will be most unhappy.( )2. 在理解对话大意的基础上,为了达到对对话细节的理解,听第二遍并回答Activity4 中的问题。1.) Why is Tony unhappy?Because he his camera.3.听第三遍,回答Activity5, 完成后让学生小组内交流答案。4.听后做。Read the conversation and finish Activity 6 。四、理解意思小组间合作解决Activity 3中不懂的地方,教师适时点拨。五、突破重点与难点(一)对重点内容和疑难问题进行合作探究学习在上一模块中我们学习了that引导的定语从句。(在复合句中,修饰 或 的从句叫做定语从句,它的作用相当于一个 词,被定语从句修饰的词叫 , 引导定语从句的词叫 。不管是人还是物,一般都可用 引导的定语从句修饰。除此外,who 和which也用来引导定语从句。1. The one who won the photo competition last summer?本句中的关系代词who引导定语从句,修饰先行词 。如果先行词是人,定语从句的引导词可用 或 。who可在定语从句中作主语或宾语,作宾语时可用who,也可用它的宾格whom.The doctor (that/who/which)you are looking for is in the room.The silk (苏州生产的)sells well.自主造句:1)2. Its the band which gets everyone dancing.此句是个 ,关系代词which修饰先行词 。which 指物,在定语从句中作主语或宾语。that不仅指 ,还指 。但是which只指 。1) I like living in the house is big and bright. The trouble is , I want to get some good photos句中的trouble是一个 名词。常用于短语:have trouble (in) doing sth. 做某事遇到困难;be in trouble 处于困境中; get into trouble 陷入困境 等,还常用于句型:Whats the trouble with you? 你怎么了?相当于 _ _ , _ 两个句子。巩固提升:1)你的朋友怎么了? 。(用三个不同句子)2)Lily often has trouble making sentences . .3) 不要嘲笑陷入困境的人。Dont laugh at the person .自主造句:1)4. Its the band which gets everyone dancing.句中的get sb. / sth. doing sth. 让某人某物一直做某事,强调动作持续,get用做使役动词时,其后常跟现在分词作宾语补足语。l) My father will get two men (work) in the fields.2)Tony got us (一直等)for half an hour yesterday.自主造句:1)2) 5. How did you get on ?get on 意为 ,相当于get along ,常用的搭配有:get on /along with sb. 意为和某人相处,get on/ along with sth .某事进展如何。也可在get on/along 后加上副词,用以说明程度, get on /along well with sb. / sth. 意为:1)你们的英语学习进展得怎么样?2)玲玲和她的同学们相处的很好。自主造句:1)6we didnt expect to see you!句中expect意为:预料,期待,盼望。常见用法有:1) expect to do sth. 期待做某事We expect (收到你的来信).2) expect sb. to do sth. 期待某人做某事I expect (我希望你按时到)3) expect+ 宾语从句My parents expect (我会取得好成绩)4) expect +sth. 期待某事Hes expecting (你的到来)自主造句7. Ive just come to pick Tony up.句中 pick up 的意思是 ,当代词作宾语时,要放在pick和up之间。还可表示“拾起,整理,购买,付账,收听”等我想让父亲10点钟来接我。I want my father at ten.Tony picks up a wallet lying on the floor. 意为: 。(二)自主完成后,小组合作,交流学习成果,共同释疑。(三)学生朗读巩固以上重点知识。六、归纳短语_七、诵读积累(一)跟录音机朗读对话,模仿语音语调。为了让学生模仿地道的语音语调,培养学生的语感,对文章有进一步的了解,跟磁带朗读,在朗读前提醒学生注意句子的重音。(二)读熟对话(三)读烂短语(四)读烂下列重点句子1.
