外研版八年级下册英语module9unit1导学案Module 9 HeroesUnit 1 She missed the final practice so that Kylie could play.课型:听说课【学习目标】1. 能正确理解使用下列单词和词组:so that, avoid, brave, excuse, thought, on ones own, come up, rewrite, imagine, look forward to, hero等2. 能正确理解和运用because,so that,so 引导原因、目的、结果状语从句。3. 能谈论自己喜欢的英雄人物,并可以与其他同学交流、介绍。4.学生主动了解世界各地英雄人物的相关信息,激发努力学习的高昂斗志。【教学重难点】。 重点:1)词汇avoid ,brave ,excuse ,thought ,rewrite2)短语1.be good at 2.come up3.look forward to 4.so that5.a piece of music 6.on ones own7.an excuse 8.a very kind thought9.stand up 10.rewrite the final dance music。 难点:能正确理解和运用because, so that, so 引导原因、目的、结果状语从句。【教学过程】1.课前朗读: 朗读单词so that, avoid, brave, excuse, thought, on ones own, come up, rewrite, bet注意单词中每个音节的发音和字母组合。培养学生自主学习词汇的习惯,促使学生迅速进入学习状态。2.检查词汇预习:采取结对、小组互查等形式来检查学生对词汇的预习情况。一、情境导入教师可以问学生:We know Sally and Kylie are best friends. One of them can play the solo. Do you want to know who will play it?学生回答:Who?教师:Lets learn Unit 1 to find out the answer. 通过对话调动学生学习英语的积极性,活跃课堂气氛,导入新课,使学生进入情景学习。板书课题。二、小听力(自主完成,合作释疑)1.Now please listen to the tape and answer the questions.(1)。 Whos speaking ?(2)。When are they speaking?(3)。What will happen next?2. Listen to the tape again, complete Activity 2.(1)How does Sally usually feel about playing on her own?(2)What do Lingling and Betty think of Betty?(3)What dose Mrs Styles know?(4) Whats Mrs Styles going to do ?三、大听力 (多层听)一层听:Listen to Activity 3,and complete the sentences:1) Sally is at the violin.2) Sally the final practice so that Kylie could play the solo.3) At last and played the final music dance because their teacher rewrote it.二层听:Listen again,finish Activity 4. (学生独立完成后,小组内交流答案。)读后做:Read the conversation ,finish Activity 5 and write down notes. (设计由易到难,培养学生边听边做笔记的习惯,完成后让学生小组内交流答案)1.Do you agree that Sally is a hero?2.What do you think will happen in the Starsearch competition?3.What will happen when Kylie and Sally get back to the UK?4.Have you ever heard or seen a programme like Starsearch? What happens?四、理解意思(一) 学生自主学习,理解activity 3的意思,找出不懂得地方。(二) 小组内合作解决不懂的地方,再有疑难,小组间共同解决,教师适时点拨。五、突破重点与难点(一)对重点内容和疑难问题进行合作探究学习。1. Sally is good at the violin.be good at 意为 _ ,与 “在某方面做得好”可互换。注意这两个词组后接动词时要用_形式。例如:Lingling is good at swimming.转换为同义句自主造句_.同义句2.She missed the final practice so that Kylie could play this piece of music on her own.1)miss 在本句中意为 ,其后可跟名词或代词作宾语。如:错过了公共汽车 ;miss 作动词时,还可以表示 之意,如:想念我的父母 。2)句中so that 引导一个目的状语从句,意为 。so that 引导目的状语从句时,常与can, could, be able to 等连用。如:CCTV has set a new channel so that children can have a TV channel of their own.自主造句_.3. I imagine that she did it so that Kylie could avoid problems with her parents.1)I imagine 口语中常用的一个结构,在句中的意思是_.除了该结构以外,也可以用 、 等来表达同一个意思。2)avoid作动词,意为 ,后面可跟名词、代词或动名词作宾语。如:His job helped many people avoid traffic accidents.自主造句_.4.Theyre starting to play ,so be quiet!本句是由so引导的结果状语从句,表示的是由于某个原因才做某事。也就是说,主句表示原因,从句表示由于该原因导致的结果。如Mike wanted to help people so he became a doctor.自主造句_5. They are standing up because theyre both going to play .because引导原因状语从句,经常用来回答why引导的特殊疑问句。because of短语也表示原因,但其后跟 ,because后跟 。如:We didnt go for a picnic because it was raining hard.同义句:We didnt go for a picnic because of the heavy rain.自主造句_.同义句6.小组自我补充(二)自主完成后,小组合作,交流学习成果,共同释疑。(三)让学生疯狂朗读以上重点知识。六、习题巩固:(一)用括号中所给词的适当形式填空:1. Dont make an excuse for _(make) mistakes.2. Tom saved the girl from the water. How (bravely) he is!3.He always does homework on _(he) own.4.Do you know who is the (invent) of the computer?5.
