The researchers controlled what the second group ate. Their food had 35 percent fewer calories (卡路里) than the first group of mice. Price said the second group of mice was more 17 and had fewer diseases. He and his team found that 18 calories slowed aging. The researchers found that fewer calories slow down cells ribosomes (核糖体). Price explained that ribosomes are used to make important proteins (蛋白质). But with fewer calories, ribosomes slow down. This gives ribosomes more time to 19 themselves. Price used cars to explain this as an example. “Like a car, a ribosome isnt a simple 20 . It needs repairs to change the broken parts. When the glass of the car is broken,” he explained, “you dont need to throw the 21 car away and buy a new one. It costs less to change the glass.” Price said that because of this, it is 22 to break a whole ribosome when it starts to break down. “Instead, repairing single part of the ribosome makes ribosomes continue producing high quality proteins. This top quality production keeps cells and the whole 23 working well,” he added. Earlier studies have shown a connection between calorie reduction and slowed aging. However, this is first to show how the ribosomes can 24 aging. Price said the findings help to explain 25 exactly people become older. Success belongs to those who are willing to go after it and put their effort into doing what they have to do. Here are some useful practical ways for you if you want to be successful.Desire Desire (渴望) is the strong wish to achieve a goal. Without desire you have nothing. Before you can run with desire, your goal must be clear, and it must also be exciting.Show up Seventy percent of success in life is showing up. You cant have a best seller, if you have never written a book. You cant get your dream job, if youre afraid to turn in an application. Showing up doesnt guarantee(保证) success, but if you dont show up, you wont be successful. Fail Unless youre willing to have a try, fail unhappily, and have another try, success wont happen. To have success, you have to do things the right way, but often the only way to do something right is to first fail at it. As Thomas J. Watson said, a simple formula (公式) for success is to double your rate of failure (失败). So welcome failure, become a student of failure, learn from failure, and soon you will be a success. Work Harder Everyone runs, but everyone is not willing to run for an hour every day. Success is not about doing what the common person cant do. Its about doing what the common person is unwilling to do. And on a deeper level, its about creating habits that the common person is unwilling to create. Its the habit of doing things with excellence thatwill cause success. Enjoy the Journey Success is a journey, not a destination (终点). Success is not a certain car or a certain house or a certain happy marriage. Success means the enjoyment of the journey. You have to enjoy the journey.Someone once said, “If you dont change how you are, you will always have what youve got.” You have to change, you will change, and you will be successful. OpinionIf you want to have success, you should try your 57 to achieve it.Fiveways tosuccessDesireYou wont achieve your goal if you have 58 desire. You can be successful 59 a clear and exciting goal.Show up 60 showing up doesnt guarantee success, you wont be successful without showing up. 61
