Unit 10 What color is it?第三课教案PreparationYou will need:childrens Bingo Gameboards from Lesson 2.1.Bingo game Use this game to review the vocabulary and letters from this Unit. (See Unit 1, page 24 for rules and procedure.) Before playing the Bingo game for this Unit, it is important that the children have first correctly colored each square containing a color name on their Bingo boards.2.Talk togetherStudent Book page 42 Have the children open their books at page 42. Draw their attention to the top of the page. Display your copy of the page. Point to the first picture. Say, “What do you think Cathy is asking?” Try to elicit, “What color is this bird?” Now say, “What is Davids answer?” Elicit, “Its blue.” Have the children repeat the question and answer. Draw the childrens attention to the second picture. Point to the frog. Ask, “What color is this (frog)?” Elicit, “Its (green).” Repeat for the other pictures. Put the children into pairs to practice the questions and answers.3.Listen and colorStudent Book page 42 Draw the childrens attention to the bottom of the page. Explain that you will play a tape and that you want them to color each picture with the color they hear. If necessary, review the names of the animals before listening to the tape. Play the tape two sentences at a time. After each pair, ask, “Which picture matches those sentences?” Have the children touch the picture after hearing the sentences on the tape. It is important to watch that the children choose correctly. Play the tape a second time. This time, have the children color each picture with the color they hear on the tape. 4.Sounds and lettersStudent Book page 43 Draw the childrens attention to the top of the page. Play the tape for ladder, lemon, Lulu. Ask, “Do these words have the sound /l/?” Play the tape again and have the children say the words aloud. Repeat the procedure for the /m/and /n/sound words. 5.Listen and circleStudent Book page 43 Have the children open their books at page 43. Show your copy of the book. Have the children look at the pictures at the bottom of the page. Point to the picture of moon. Ask, “Whats this?” Elicit the correct word from the children. Play the tape for the word moon. Have the children repeat after the tape. Play the tape for noodles. Ask, “Does this have the same beginning sound with moon?” Elicit the answer from the children. Repeat for the other words. Play the tape again and this time tell the children to circle the words that have the same beginning sound with moon. Repeat the procedure for oth
