广州版六年级英语下册教案Module 3 Famous People Unit 7 Dr Sun Yatsen一、教学内容:Module 3 Famous People Unit 7 Dr Sun Yatsen-Fun with Language二、教学目标:(一)语言知识目标:1.复习有关描述人的词汇和句型。2.能听懂、读懂有关的英语故事。(二)语言技能目标:能熟练地运用一般过去时介绍名人的事迹。(三)学习策略目标:1.通过收集和整理名人的资料,培养学生有效运用多媒体进行学习的能力。2.积极参与小组合作完成学习任务,发展听、说、读、写能力。(四)情感态度目标:通过活动,培养学生阅读和写作的兴趣。三、教学策略:1.设置听、说、读、写的任务,层层递进地开展阅读和写作的练习。2.通过阅读策略的指导,提高阅读能力。四、教学重点:能读懂有关名人的英语故事。五、教学难点:能仿照例文,运用一般过去时进行写作。六、教学媒体:课件、图片。七、教学过程:(一)热身和复习1.跟歌曲软件学唱P32歌曲We Shall Overcome.2.复习动词和它的过去式,根据提示词背诵课文。3.课件出示邓小平、周恩来、孙中山、毛泽东的图片,让学生根据提示词,选择其中一位进行描述。(通过热身和复习,让学生快速进入学习状态,并为下面的学习做好铺垫。)(二)呈现与操练1.让学生阅读P34三个笑话,提问学生是否理解几个对话的含义。2.提问学生:Who found Australia? When did James Cook find Australia? Whos George Washington? When did he free the American people? Whos Armstrong? When did he step on the moon?(学生课前预习上网查找相关资料,培养他们有效运用多媒体进行学习的能力。)(三)发展1.略读第一篇文章Helen Keller(文章见附录一)1)老师一边出示图片,一边讲关于海伦凯勒的故事。(让学生了解故事的大意。)2)学生听完老师讲故事后,根据故事的大意,按照事情发生的先后顺序,小组合作重排句子。( ) 1.One day, a teacher came to teach her. ()2.Helen was very famous after she grew up. ()3.When Helen was six months old, she got sick.()4.She was born in 1880 in USA.()5.After that, she couldnt see and hear(感知按事情发生的先后顺序,理清故事梗概的方法。)3)老师出示故事文字材料,学生略读故事后,根据课件出示的提示词,简要复述故事。(通过略读故事,抓住关键词复述,提高学生的口头表达能力。)2.精读第二篇文章Yao Ming(文章见附录二)1)电脑出示一个篮球,让学生猜测下面的文章将会谈论哪个人物。 (设疑,吸引学生继续保持阅读的兴趣。)2)让学生分组精读文章Yao Ming,完成练习。A:联系上下文猜测easy-going,humorous,cheer的词意。B:抢答下列问题:1. Where does Yao Ming come from?2. When was he born?3. How tall is he?4. Were his parents good at playing basketball?5. Which team does he play basketball for?6. What does he like doing?C:根据原文的意思,完成下列句子的填空:1. Yao Ming is a_ star.2. Yao Ming started to_ when he was nine.3. He is an _ and _ person.4. His hobby is _, _ and _.(通过合作学习,培养学生在小组活动中获取更多的语言信息和阅读技巧,提高阅读的能力。)3) 自由朗读文章。(通过朗读,加深对语言、句式的理解。)3.让学生归纳介绍人物的句子。is a He/She is fromHe/She was born inHe/She looked likeHe/She liked doing(帮助学生用学习过的知识构建一个整体的框架,便于下面的写作。)4.学生讨论名人的事迹,整理写作的思路,小组协作完成写作任务。(让学生通过有效的使用阅读策略,提取有用的信息,初步达成从阅读的输入到写作的输出。)5.各小组展示完成的习作。(为学生搭建一个自我展示的平台,增强他们的自信心,也让他们互相学习,取长补短。)(四)作业1.家庭听写Unit7 的单词和描写人物的句子2.上网收集图文资料,小组制作一张介绍名人的海报。附:板书设计Unit 7 Dr Sun Yatsen-Fun With Languageeasy-going is a humorous He/She is fromcheer He/She was born inHe/She looked likeHe/She liked doing七、教学反思 本课时的设计能紧扣单元学习的主题,设置听、说、读、写的任务,逐步展开话题知识的复习,阅读相关的语言材料,最后达成写作的目的。在阅读活动的设计中,老师采用了重新排列句子、简要复述文章、联系上下文猜词、抢答、填空等多种手段,引导学生掌握阅读的技巧,培养阅读的兴趣。在阅读方法的指导上,注重精读和泛读相结合,指导得比较细致。在课堂教学中,老师采用小组合作的形式,让更多的学生参与到学习活动中,并且在此过程中达到学生间互相学习,互补不足的目的。但本节课的语言输入量还不够大,阅读的选材上还可以选择对话等其他形式的文章。附文章:(一)Helen Keller Helen Keller was an American.
