Let some students answer: Yes, I can/ No, I cant. / Can you spell the word? Then write dance on the blackboard.Using the same way to teach sing English songs, play the pipa, do kung fu, draw cartoons. And ask : Can you play the hulusi / erhu / piano/ guitar/ violin?
