4、testing of submarine cable and their auxiliary equipment, to betalled for connectingBZ34-1 WHPD platform with BZ34-1 WHPE platform and BZ34-2/4 CEPA platform with BZ34-1 WHPF platform. Any exception to the requirements of this specification shall be submitted in writing for resolution by COMPANY.All

5、 deviations from the requirements of this specification shall be stated in the quotation. Lacking such a statement, it shall understand that all requirements of this specification fulfill without exception.The omission from this specification of any item or items essential for the correct function o

6、f any part of this specified equipment shall be brought to the attention of the COMPANY in writing. Failure to do this shall not absolve the Vendor from supplying the equipment complete in every respect.VENDOR shall complete all the details required in the submarine cable data sheet.2.02.1A

19、ure.Design and ConstructionGeneraltalledide a tubular steel J tube attached to thea.Submarine cable shall beulated with cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) and havethe design features listed below.The length, voltage and current rating of the cable shall be specified in data sheet.The cable sha

20、ll be a single continuous length as specified of longer. No negative tolerance on cable length is permitted. Cable shall be provided with outside markerbands on regular intervals. A red band shall be provided every 100 meters and a blue band every 1000 meters.b.c.3.3.2Submarine Cable Cable de

22、ng those shown below. The temperature under the subheading Emergency Operation shall beapplicable for no more than 100 hours in any 12-month period and a total of 500 hours over the life of the cable.c.The size of the conductors, the nominal voltage, and the length of the cable furnished shall be as

23、 shown on the data sheet. The cable shall be manufactured in one uncut continuous length, using factory made flexible splices with the same overall diameter as the unjointed cable.The cable ends shall be sealed to prevent the entrance of water or other foreign matter before leaving the factory.Each

24、offshore platform shall be equipped with a riser or pull tube, which extends from a position above the ocean floor to the platform deck. The cable shall be routed through the riser tube, across the platform, and terminated directly below the submarine cable boxes with the power and control cables se

25、parated outside submarine cable boxes. Accessories required to support and terminate the cabled.e.shall be supplied in accordance with the Cable this specification. Embedded Fiber Cable Designtallation Accessories section ofThis specification covers the minimum technical requirements of an in

26、tegrated communication system. For the power grid data communication issues, refer to the power grid integration contractors documents.The thirty-six (36) single mode optical fibre shall be imbedded within the power cable. The optical fibre cable shall be interferenced free from the power cable. The

27、 minimum bending radius of the power cable not caused any disturbance to the optical fibre. The optical fibre cables are used to provide the communications and controltrument(voice, video and data) link between the two platforms.The construction geometrical parameter and color coating of optical fib

28、ers shall in accordance with ITU-Trec.G652 .All optical parameter are tested and reported in accordance with ITU-TRec.G650.The unit consists of appropriate number of single mode optical fibers accommodated aluminum polyethylene (LAP) inner sheath. Moreover,the unit sheathed with polyethylene is cove

29、red with a layer of lead alloy sheath and polyethylene outer sheath. The interstices in the slotted core are filled with jelly compound for moisture protection.a.Fiber optic cores shall be embedded in the interstitial spaces of the submarine power conductor cores. ConductorThe conductor shall be of stranded, compacted

39、 round annealed uncoated copper wires in accordance with IEC 60228 and amendments.A continuous conductor water barrier composed of semi-conducting sealing compound in the interstices of the conductor stranding shall be provided.b. Conductor ScreenA layer of semi-conducting cross-linked polyethylene

40、or ethylene propylene or ethylene propylene rubber compound shall be extruded over the conductor.c.Theulationulation shall consist of dry (gas) cured cross-linked polyethylene in accordancewith GB12706.The average and minimum thickness shall be according to GB12706. Therecommended nominalulation thi

41、ckness shall be not less than 10.5mm. And theminimumulation thickness shall be not less than 90% average value. The average thickness of the oversheath shall be not less than that given in attached table of IEC 60502.The minimum thickness at any point shall be no less than 80% of that average thickness.l.Bedding for Wire ArmourThe bedding for wire armour shall consist

47、of synthetic tape(s).m. Wire ArmourA single layer of closed wound galvanized steel wire armour shall be applied over the bedding layer. The armour percentage coverage will be more than 92%. The diameter of the armour wire shall be selected based on the pull tension calculation by Vendor and not less

48、 than 5.0mm.n. 49、ior shall be marked by highly visible color bands of plastic tape located at 1000, 5000 and 10,000 m intervals. One band shall be applied each 1000 m, two bands each 5000 m, and three bands each 10,000 m. The bands of tape shall be not less than 100 mm wide.p. Cable LengthThe cable shall be supplied

51、ly to platforms. These junction boxes shall contain all holding clamps, hardware and fittings required to terminate the submarine cable and gland for the topside cables. Purchaser are to provide dimensions for the external cables. Junction boxes shall be suitable for class 1 zone 2 area. All junctio

52、n boxes shall be provided with space heaters. Heaters shall be rated for a 220V, 50Hz, 1 phase power supply and equipped with temperature controller.The junction boxes should be IP56 or NEMA 4X, 316 stainless steel enclosure.The manufacturer shall also supply four fiber optic junction boxes. The fib

53、er optic junction boxes shall be IP56, stainless steel enclosure. The fiber optic cables shall be broken out from the submarine composite cable on each of end .The loose cable end will be looped within the power cable splitter box and fed through a gland entry into the optic fiber termination box (I

54、P56 stainless steel enclosure) to be mounted on the side of splitter box.The VENDOR shall provide suitable fiber optic breakout enclosures, both for internal mounting within the CCR and for external mounting, using IP56/NEMA 4X enclosures.The fiber optic breakout enclosures shall be supplied with co
