2、ishabilityis one of the importantfactorsthat needs tobe takenintoaccountinmanagementof perishableproducts;itiscrucialthatmanagementof inventory and procurementofperishableproductstakeinto consideration the perishability of the products. On one hand, theprice of perishable products is time-sensitive,

3、 implying that the pricedecreases dramatically as the end of the products life approaches. Onthe other hand, a shortage of perishable products while there is demandfortheproductsmay resultinsignificantlossofrevenue.Establishingan efficientand effectiveinventoryand procurementsystem to obtaintheright

4、quantity,of productsofthe rightquality,from therightsource,and to have the products delivered to the right place at the right timewith right price can have a positive influence on a companysprofitability and competitive advantage. However, achieving this isconstrainedby issuesofcompetition,profitabi

5、lity,productharvestandother relevant conditions.Because of the stochastic nature of factorsthat affect perishable products demand and supply, it is very difficultfor a simple model to improve forecasting accuracy. In this thesis, toresolve this problem, many indeterminable factors affecting the futu

6、redemandfor perishableproductsare consideredinthedynamic forecastingmodel. Because supplyand demandof perishableproducts are dynamic (i.e.volatile)innature,itisadvisabletouse the integratedcollaborativeforecasting method, a CPFR (Collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment) management meth

7、od, to increase the accuracy of forecasts of supply-demand in supply chains with perishable products. The purposeof using this model is also to build a scientific strategic foundationfor dealing with the inventory replenishment problem. The significanceof thisresearch isthatit providesnew conceptsfo

8、r managing perishableproducts procurement and inventory decisions that help improve therationality of inventory replenishment in practical situations byaccurately forecasting demand, which leads to more intelligent decisionmaking. First, we give an introduction of CPFR, and analyse theapplicability

9、of CPFR management strategies to perishable productsmanagement.Second, an investment game model is built and twoclassifications of equilibrium, i.e. interior equilibrium and boundaryequilibrium, are defined, and their existence is proved. The notion ofequilibrium stability is put forward, and the st

10、ability solution of theinvestment game model is also given.Third, a collaborative (between aretailerand a supplier)forecastingmodel isconstructed.In thismodel,evolution of demandforecastsforperishableproducts is analysed,takinginto consideration forecast adjustment variablenm ,i, correlationbetween

11、adjustment variablesnr ,i andns ,i, and the forecastingcapability . Furthermore, an inventory replenishment model is putforward by introducing collaborative forecasting model to inventoryreplenishmentstrategiesoftheretailerand thesupplier.Simulation ofthis model shows that when both the supplier and

12、 the retailer followcollaborative forecasting rules, inventory level decreases and the costof supply chain as a whole reduces significantly. Another inventoryreplenishment model that aims at achieving the highest profit for thewhole supply chain is also studied in detail. While demand and the leadti

13、me oforderare allstochastic,pricediscountsfor perishable productsare included, and shortage of goods is allowed.Finally, a three-level supply chain model with perishable products that includes a supplier, a producer and a retailer is constructed. We introduce a cost sharingcontractto achieve efficientcooperationbetween partnersof the supplychain dealing in perishable produc
