3、、词汇、语法知识,基本上能听懂一些简单的课堂用语和利用英语表达所学的简单内容,读懂课文,听懂课文的录音。因该班是公办班,他们学习主动性较强,具有一定的表现欲,会积极参与课堂。二、 教材分析1. 本节课是围绕初三中考考点“Environment” 这一话题而展开的复习,属于综合复习课。2. 学习本节课前,学生已经学完了初中三个年级的全部课程,曾经学习和了解环境问题的基本知识与词汇,课前也让学生们小组讨论如何为保护环境做实事;并让学生弄清什么是科学思想或文化传统。这为这一课时的学习作了铺垫。根据学生实际水平,自己编辑了关于四大污染的文章供学生阅读。并设计一些题目帮助学生理解;并围绕“Environ

4、ment”这一话题设计听力题-听填信息。本节课内容包括:Listening, Reading and Comprehending,Discussion及家庭作业中的Writing。本节内容主要讲述了环境问题中最为常见和严重的污染问题,在对学生进行阅读技巧指导的同时介绍保护环境的方法。文章最后提到了一个发人深省的问题:All these problems are very serious, so we must do something now.3. 通过本节课的学习,使学生深思“How To Be Friends Of The Earth”,并倡导学生“爱护地球家园,从我做起”并作环保宣誓。三

18、ing now.”诱发学生思考当前环境问题的严重性及其原因,让学生从日常生活中可以做到的事谈论如何保护我们共同的家园。通过游戏等让学生学习保护环境的各种措施,各小组积极讨论,看谁的点子多,大胆用英语表达自己的想法,再通过宣传海报及自身的宣誓仪式,号召大家一起从自身做起,为环境保护作贡献。课堂气氛热烈,达到了整节课的高潮。课后作业的设置让学生结合东莞市创建“卫生城市”的实际给市长写一封信表决心,既检测了课堂效果,又可以练习写作。在对课文理解之后,设计了世界环境日主题的中英配对,拓展了学生的知识面,使学生更好的了解身边的环境问题,有助于学生从身边的小事做起参与环境保护。不足之处:由于课时安排是阅读

19、指导课并侧重训练学生的听力能力及口语表达,而没有当场解决课文的重难点句子。 附录(一)教学材料I.
