2、属工艺学或机械制造基础的热加工部分。共分两大部分，第一部分包括各种金属材料及其性能（含热处理），重点在于钢铁材料，介绍各种铸铁、铸钢、碳钢、合金钢、工具钢和不锈钢等牌号、成分特点、工艺特点及使用性能及热处理方法等。第二部分包括金属铸造生产过程（包括砂型铸造及特种铸造）、金属成型过程（热锻、冷冲及轧制）和焊接生产，侧重各种工艺过程的特点及新发展。一、 课程性质、目的和要求 本课程是为了提高材料加工工程专业的高年级学生的专业英语阅读能力而设置的一门课。使学生掌握机械工程、材料加工领域内最基本的相关专业词汇和术语，加强学生的英语实际应用能力，为学生从事国际学术交流和学习打好基础。本课程的基本要求：1
