1、曲阜市南河套小学陈庆菊part a unit5 do you like pears ?today i m going to talk about part a the second period of unit5,pep primary english, book 2. this lesson includes two parts: lets learn and lets chant. this unit is mainly about fruit. now, i will explain the lesson from the following aspects. .teaching con
2、tentfirstly, lets focus on the analysis of teaching content. in section 1, it mainly deals with these key words: pear, orange, apple, banana and the pattern: do you like? and the answer: yes, i do. / no, i dont. i like and in section 2, it provides a chant for the ss to consolidate the new wordsii.
3、analysis of the students:our students are in grade 3. they are active and curious, interested in new things. after learning english for half a year, they have some basic english background knowledge, so i should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using la
4、nguage. they have learnt this unit for one class, and have already known the pattern: do you like? and the answer: yes, i do. / no, i dont. i likeit is not difficult for them to understand and use the pattern .iii. teaching aims1. aims on the knowledge:(1)to enable the ss to read, recognize, and use
5、 these words: pear, orange, apple and banana. (2) to enable the ss to understand and speak : do you like?yes, i do. / no, i dont. i likein real situations.2. aims on the ability:(1).to develop ss abilities of listening and speaking.(2).to train the ss ability of working in groups.3. aims on the emot
6、ion:to foster ss consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition.iv.the important points and difficult points:the important points of this lesson are:(1) to help ss use the new words to ask and answer the question: do you like? and the answer: yes, i do. / no, i dont. i like(2) to enable ss
7、 to study in groups and co-operate. (3) to develop ss interest in english.difficult points here:the pronunciation of the new words and use them in real situations, v .teaching methods:as we all know, the main instructional aims of learning english in primary school is to cultivate pupils basic abili
8、ties of listening ,speaking and their good sense of english language. so in this lesson ill mainly use “task-based” teaching method and “tpr teaching method” .that is to say, ill let the ss learn in real situations, and arrange five kinds of activities: singing, guessing game, make friends, magic bo
9、x and make a survey. and in this lesson a recorder, cai and pictures of fruit will be needed. teaching procedures and purposes of my designing. i am going to finish this lesson with three steps.step1. warm-up 1. share a cartoon about zoom and zip. they are having a race. they are picking apples. 2.
10、xi yangyang has a magic garden. in the garden, he has a magic tree. do you know whats on it? do you want to make friends with them?the purpose of this step is to form a better english learning surrounding for the ss.step2. presentationnow ill mainly talk about this step. 1. with the help of the ppt,
11、 i show the picture about apple. look !what is dropping down from the tree? after presenting new word, i will stress pronunciation of the new words. and then read the words in different forms.the purpose of this step can facilitate the ss abilities to pronounce the words, and help them to remember t
12、he spelling of the words.2. use the pattern: do you like? to practice the new words .3. sing the song and make friends about the new words. the purpose of this is to present the new words and sentences in the situation, which relates to the ss real life experiences. through the two activities to rev
13、iew the words, but also to mobilize the enthusiasm of ss.step3 consolidation and extension1. guessing game and magic box due to the ss age, i arrange guessing game and magic box two interesting activities to consolidate the new words and pattern.2. make a survey. it is to help ss to consolidate the
14、new words and pattern through a true situation.purpose: task-based teaching method is used here to develop ss abilities of communication and co-operation.3. let chant and summarypurpose: tpr teaching method is used here to help the ss understand the language easily and naturally.revision in this par
15、t plays an important role in consolidation.4. homework my homework is divided into three classes: (1) speak the new words to your friends or parents. (2) draw your favourite fruit and create a dialogue using your pictures .a: do you like? b: yes, i do. / no, i dont. i like(3) collect another fruit w
16、e havent learnt.let ss choose one to finish it. purpose: revision is so important that ss should speak english as much as they do in class or after class. it is necessary for the ss to do some extensive exercises after class to consolidate the knowledge they learned. the design for writing on the bl

18、d then, i arrange four kinds of activities. though the activities to review the words ,but also inspire the enthusiasm of ss. make a survey ,just let ss use the language in real sitiuation to develope ss abilities of communication and co-operation. tpr teaching method is used here to help the ss und
