Actually, it is really an unforgettable experience as there are full of interests and legends. Now, I have been a senior student of English major in northwestern normal

2、university, and it is quite necessary to share my experience with others. It was in third grade in primary school when I first knew English. At the beginning, it is very hard for me to express myself in English. Whenever I tried my best to speak English in class, I would be laughed by my classmates.

3、 Although I have remembered all the words the teacher taught, I had no courage to compound(kmpaund)() them into a complete sentence and spoke them out. Gradually, I found it had nothing to do with my English study. I had made a fool of myself. I realized that the best way to improve myself is to stu

4、dy harder so as to catch up with others and got a high mark. Only in this way can I be admitted by the number one primary school. So I seized(抓住) every chance to practice it in class as well as in free talk. Whats more, I did morning reading every day. As a result, I passed the entrance examination

5、and entered the middle school. However, everything seemed to be changed since that time, and I came across various(vrs)( 不同的;各种各样的,形形色色的) troubles in English learning as it changed to be more difficult compared with previous learning. But I was not willing to give up English, and then I spent almost

6、 all of my free time in practicing English by listening to the tape and repeating after it. Whenever it was, wherever I was, I kept the tape on. I listened carefully and tried to recite the article despite that listening was not a necessary part in our tests. Soon, I found I had made great progress

7、in my English. At least, I could understand what the teacher said in class. Then slowly, I could get good marks at times. This taught me a good lesson that hard work makes progress. As for great interests in English, I chose English as my favorite subject after entering senior high school. When I wa

8、s a senior high school, I did poor in my oral English as my teacher told me that there were filled with dialects pronunciation in my English speaking. In order to solve this problem, I practice English everyday. When I confronted the problem that I could not deal with, I would like to ask our tutor

9、for help. When I felt frustrated on English learning, I often tend to my classmates for help. They were always helpful and encouraging me to moving on. Through communication, I have not only increased the relationship with my tutors and classmates, but also improved my English skills. My English ora

10、l English improved gradually, but my vocabulary was still quite limited. I was not able to understand what my English books were about and had no choice about what to write in a composition, so I brought my dictionary to the library. But reading the entire English book was too difficult for me, so I

11、 read the Chinese translation before the unabridged English version. Instead of looking up every new word in my dictionary, Id finish a whole page without stopping so as to get the general idea. I found that this was a good learning system. I stuck to a strict schedule and practiced my listening com

12、prehension (理解能力)(kmprhnn)for hours every day. To my happiness, I eventually commanded lots of new words. Personally, the secret(秘密)of learning English well is to develop a deep interest in it first and then spend lots of time in learning and enjoying what is learned. Ask yourself a question “Do I f

13、eel happy when I learn English?” If your answer is “no”, youd better hurry up and find something interesting to you. Second, taking every opportunity the surroundings provide to you, in other word, practice as much as you can. I like to read everything that is relevant (rlvnt)( 有关的;切题的;恰当的)with Engl

14、ish or watch English movies in my spare time. Moreover(morov)(此外), I am the big fan of English music. It does not only help to improve my listening skills, but it also provides a good way to relax. In the process (prss)(过程)of practicing oral (口头的)English, it had better not be nervous, try to be rela

15、xed when you write articles or talk to your English teacher. There is no need to pay too much attention to details when you are talking. If you have some mistakes, thats all right. Thinking and talking in English, this creates (kret)(创造, 创作, 引起, 造)a wonderful feeling to you. You can see my progresse

16、s during these years. So, its never too late to practice English. The last one is that to be confident to you and never give up. Learning English is a long way to go, there is no short-cut(捷径). When you feel down, just believe at yourself and contact with your tutor or your classmates when you feel

17、down. When I fed up with it, I always think about these people who are successful in English Learning, I will be inspired(鼓舞) by their these years English study, I take more skill of studying English. And do not regard studying English as a kind of burden(bdn)(负担). I think learning English is similar
