10、ions in preparing and submitting his Bid. 译文：在编写和递交投标书时，投标人须遵守邀请函和此须知所规定的条款。 分析：因为这是招标方对投标方的硬性规定，所以翻译时语气要强。那么“shall”在这里要翻译为“必须”。而招标方在谈到自己须履行的某种义务时，总是极力淡化自己的语气，或减弱语言的强度，这时应避免选择含“强制性”含义的“shall”或“must”，而选用“will”、“should”或“may”，表“可以、愿意”。4谨慎选用情态动词1大量使用长句 与普通英语句子相比，英文招标投标文本中的句子较长，结构也更复杂。使用长句可以准确地界定参加招标投标各

VIETNAM.”修饰句子主语；第二个定语从句“which has total installed cap

19、低的投标书，依次类推。4经常使用圆周句招投标文本的文体特征： （1）在词汇方面，经常采用缩略词及专业词汇，成对使用含义相近的词，以及多用正式词语和谨慎选用情态动词等； （2）在句法结构方面，所使用的句子结构都比较冗长，常使用被动语态、圆周句、陈述句、条件句和定语从句； （3）在篇章结构上，逻辑连贯、表达流畅、结构严谨，不随意增加修辞润色等特点。一、套译法一、套译法 套译法，又称“借用”、“借译”或“套用”，属于归化的翻译方法，套译要求形式及内容上的大致对等。由于文化背景的不同，原文的形象有时不符合英语国家的习俗，如直译出来就颇为费解，从而影响到原文意思的准确传递。这时大多采用套译法，即在译入语

20、中找到形式和内容大致对等的句式表达。（一）套用专用词语和文体词语 大量的专用词语和文体标记词语出现在招标投标文本中，既传神地表达原意，又使译文更具民族特色，是实现其文本功能的表现形式，翻译过程中应尽量套用译入语中惯常使用的词语。第二节第二节 招投标文本翻译策略招投标文本翻译策略（二）套用程式化的句式结构 招标投标文本属于商业合同，具有浓厚的法律色彩，在翻译过程中可以套用译入语中惯常使用的句式结构。 例子：例子：收到协议后28天内，成功投标者签字、封缄使协议生效，把两份都还给业主。业主签字协议生效后，还给承包人一份。 译文：Within 28 days of receipt of the For
