8、k it home. 当有代词出现的时候,代词应放在 pick 和 up 之间,如: Don tthrow away the rubbish. Pick it up. -句中的see them growing up意为看着它们长大”。See有两种常见用法: see somebody do something 和 see somebody doing something. 前者常指看到了整个动作过程, 动词不定式表示整 个活动或整个事件从头到尾的全过程;而后者表示看到某个正在进行中的活动。 The man saw the robbers leave the hotel. We can see b

Young people can lear n how to care for others and how to respect all livi ng things by keep ing a pet dog. -句中的how to是带wh-疑问句的动词不定式,最常用作动词和介词的宾语。如: I couldn decide which bicycle to buy. The doctor gave us a talk on how to preve nt a cold. -句中的care for意为关爱”。如: Ben car
10、ed for others more tha n himself. Everybody cares for him. 3. This stops their n eighbours from gett ing any sleep. -句中的stopfrom 意为阻止。”如: Noth ing will stop us from reachi ng our aims. The difficult problems stop us from gett ing further. 与 stopfrom 结构相似的表达有: preventfrom, keep from His ill ness prev
11、e nted him from speak ing. Readi ng books keeps us from gett ing bored. 4. This may make the dogs feel extremely un happy. -句中的makefeel意为使。感到”,这种结构是动词后面跟不带to的不定式。 -句中的feel unhappy意为感到不高兴” 。Feel是连系动词,后面跟形容词。 This coat feels soft. 5. The ticket for Expo cost me 160 yua n. 语法: 1.被动语态2 含有情态动词的被动语态的结构:情态动词+be+动词的过去分词”。 The bicycle can be repaired in t

Everything should be done before five o lock. 2 副词 副词是一类用来修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或整个句子的词类。 副词的作用 修饰动词 The boy can swim quickly .(畐U词 quickly 修饰动词 swim) The reporter writes articles carefully .(畐U词 carefully 修饰动词 write) 修饰形容词 The shoes look really beautiful
14、 .(副词 really 修饰形容词 beautiful) The boy is tall enough to reach the book shelf.(副词 enough 修饰形容词 tall) 修饰副词 The wi nd blows fiercely eno ugh to break the wi ndow.(畐U词 eno ugh 修饰畐 U 词 fiercely) He did everything quite well .(副词 quite 修饰副词 well) 修饰其他结构 Most importantly , the policemen found the missing g
15、irl.(副词 importantly 修 饰整个句子) Luckily , he was not injured.(副词 luckily 修饰整个句子) 副词的分类 时间和频度副词 now, often, always, usually, sometimes, never, already, today, yet, soon, too, immediately, hardly, fin ally, before, ago, yesterday, etc. 地点副词 here, there, everywhere, any where, in, out, outside, in side, a
16、bove, below, down, back, upstairs, downstairs, across, along, around, near, past, off, away, etc. 方式副词 carefully, sudde nly, fast, well, politely, softly, warmly, etc. 程度副词 much, little, very, rather, so, too, still, quite, eno ugh, extremely, almost, etc. 疑问副词 how, whe n, where, why 关系副词 whe n, whe
17、re, why 连接副词 how, whe n, where, why, whether 副词的位置 多数副词都可以放在动词的后面,若动词带 宾语,副词放在宾语后。 I get up early in the morning every day. She didn t drink waten ough. 副词修饰形容词、副词时,副词在前,而被 修饰词在后。 It rather easy, I can do it. It s(s important that I must tell my parents. 频度副词放在实义动词前,情态动词和助动 词后。 I always remember the
18、 day whe n 1 first came to meet you. The new student doesn always go swimming. 疑问副词、连接副词、关系副词以及修饰整 个句子的副词,通常放在句子或从句前。 Can you tell me how to do it? First , let me introduce myself. 时间副词和地点副词在一个句中,地点副词 在前面,时间副词在后面。 We went shopping in the shopping mall at six o clock yesterday. What were you doing at
19、 home this time the day before yesterday ? 【注意】副词 very可以修饰形容词,但不能修饰动词。如:I like English very much.不能用I very like English.副词enough要放在形容词的后面,形容词enough放在名词前后都可。如: I don t know him well eno ugh. / There is eno ugh food for every one to eat. / There is water eno ugh for childre n to drink. 副词的比较级和最高级的用法 级
20、 用法 例 句 比 较 级 表示两者(人或事物)的比较。副词比较级的 用法与形容词相似。在“比较级+than ”的句子 中,当than前后所使用的动词相同时,通常用 助动词代替后面的动词。有时可用a bit, a little , much, far, a lot, still , even 等修饰。 1. Who runs faster, Jackie or Peter? 2. Tim jumped farther tha n Jim (did). 3. He works much harder tha n 1 (do). 最 高 级 表示二者或二者以上(人或事物)的比较,其 中的一个在某方
21、面超过其他几个时,用最高级。 形容词最高级的前面一般要加the,副词前可省。 后面可带of或in的短语来说明比较的范围。 1. He jumps (the) highest of the three. 2. Lucy sings the (best) of all. 3. Who runs (the) fastest in the class? 畐恫的同级比较 1 表示A与B在某一方面程度相同时用“as +副词原形+ as”的句型。如: Tom can do his homework as fast as his classmates. 汤姆做作业和他的同学们一样快。 We couldn t
22、imagine that Ben ran quickly as Michael at school sports meeting. 我们不能想象在校 运动会上本跑得和麦克一样快。 2 .表示A在某一方面不及 B时用“ not as/so +副词原形 + as”的句型。如: He didn come to school as early as his teacher.他不如老 师至U校得早。 He did not dig as deep as his colleagues. 他没有同事 挖得深。 【注意】not as/so的句型可以和含有than的句子相互转换。如: Billy didn do the work as carefully as Sandy.可以转换成: Sandy did the work more carefully than Billy. 易混淆副词的辨析 以下副词的使用经常会引起混淆,应引起注意: 1 close 意思是“近” My mother is si
