1、阅读(四)教学大纲课程编号:S032016课程类型:专业必修课课程名称:阅读(四)英文名称:Reading Course(IV )学分:2适用专业:英语专业第一部分 大纲说明一、课程的性质、目的和任务阅读(四)是英语专业基础阶段的专业必修课,同时也是使学生大量接触英语读物和培养阅读 能力的一门实践性较强的课。其目的在于培养学生的英语阅读理解能力(包括细读、略读、查阅等) 、 激发阅读兴趣、提高阅读速度。本课程通过大量阅读不仅培养学生细致观察语言的能力以及假设判断、 分析归纳、推理检验等逻辑思维能力,而且帮助学生扩大词汇量、吸收语言和文化背景知识。二、课程的基本要求本课程使用泛读教程 ( 第四册

2、 )作为教材,内容涉及英语国家社会、政治、经济、文化等方面。 教师将介绍各种阅读技巧、对课文的重点和难点进行讲解,并指导学生完成并讨论课后相关练习。基本要求 :了解:语言材料的内容所涉及的相关背景知识和百科知识。熟悉: 语言材料的内容中涉及的基本词汇, 扩大词汇量, 为今后的写作、 欣赏、语言交际奠定基础。 掌握:基本阅读技巧,提高阅读速度和理解力。能力要求:本教程学完后,能阅读难度相当于 Reader s Digest的材料,阅读速度为每分钟 70-120个单词,理 解中心大意,抓住主要情节和论点。要求在理解的基础上抓住要点,并能运用正确观点评价思想内容。 阅读速度为每分钟 120180个单

3、词,准确率不低于 90%。能在 5分钟内速读 1000词左右中等难度的文 章,掌握文章的大意。要求学生阅读几十本小说读物,养成自觉阅读习惯。三、本课程与相关课程的联系本课程重点在于拓宽学生的知识面, 提高学生的阅读速度, 培养学生的阅读技巧。 它与基础阶段其 他课程是相辅相成的, 又是高级阶段其他专业课的基础。 这就要求学生在上好本课的同时, 努力提高自 己的其他素质, 学好相关学科, 做到既具有精到的语言基本技能, 又具有广博的知识面和深厚的文化素 养,从而为将来得心应手地参加实际工作打下良好的基础。 学好本课程, 也为相关课程的学习奠定基础, 培养兴趣。这些相关课程包括:英语视听、基础英语

7、在每学期期末,即期末考试。成绩评定方案及标准:学生考试成绩由两部分组成,即 平时成绩和期末考试成绩。平时成绩占总成绩的30%,是根据学生的出勤率、听课态度、提出问题、回答问题、课堂与课后完成的口语任务而定的;期末考试成绩占总成绩的70%。期末考试题型包括:根据上下文选择单词的恰当意思,用给定单词的正确形式完成句子,阅读理解,完形填空, 根据所给文 章回答问题等。第二部分 课程内容大纲Unit 1 Language Testing(2 学时)、本章的教学目的和要求:了解: to learn about different types of testing;熟悉: to get familiari
