8、 a university official, a notary or a solicitor. certificates must be in finnish, swedish or english. if the original certificate is in a different language, it must be officially translated to one of the above-mentioned languages by an authorised translator. you will need to submit both officially

9、certified copies of the original documents in their original language as well as the official translations.if you are applying on the basis of a degree completed outside of finland, copies of diplomas/degree certificates and transcripts must be certified as authentic by a university official, a nota

11、de official translations with their application.if you are applying on the basis of a degree completed in finland, copies of degree certificates and transcripts must be certified as authentic by two unbiased signatories. the signatures must include the date and the names of the two signatories in ca

12、pital letters. alternatively, the copies can be stamped and signed by an official copying authority. if the original document has more than one page, each page must be certified separately on the right side of the page. the signatories must have seen the original certificate and the copy side by sid

13、e; with their signatures they certify that the copy is an unaltered facsimile of the original.note: do not submit original degree certificates/diplomas. application documents are not returned to applicants.if you are applying on the basis of an incomplete degree that will be completed by july 31, 20

14、13, you must submit an officially certified copy of the transcript of records and an official letter from the university/school confirming the estimated time of graduation. this letter must clearly state when you are expected to graduate (at least month and year). if you are accepted to the school o

18、nts cv (curriculum vitae), indicating personal data, educational background, work experience, exhibitions, publications and articles, awards and grants, study trips and positions of trust. study planapplicants must write up a study plan of a minimum of one a4 page in length, explaining why they wish

19、 to apply to the degree programme in question, what their particular interests are in the field, and what their hopes and expectations are regarding studies at the school of arts, design and architecture. the plan should explain the applicants personal strengths, areas of interest, artistic and desi

20、gn visions, artwork perspectives and artistic objectives. the specific programme descriptions indicate if specifications differ from the above. portfolionote: not applicable for masters degree programmes in new media, new media; game design and production, and sound in new mediain the portfolio, app

21、licants display work that shows their artistic expression and design skills. the portfolio must contain diverse samples of the applicants previous scientific, professional and/or artistic activity.artwork can be provided as technical drawings, slides or photographs; we do not recommend sending origi

22、nal work. the maximum size of the portfolio is approx. a2 (420 x 594mm). the work contained in the portfolio must be catalogued, listing at least the title and/or theme, materials used, size, purpose and year of completion of each piece. the catalogue must also detail where and when the work has bee

23、n exhibited, displayed or published. the applicants name, address and phone number and the degree programme applied for must be indicated clearly on the portfolio.note: do not attach application documents such as degree certificates and transcripts to the portfolio. see submitting the application fo
