2、nd warm up ( The teacher comes into the classroom with a calendar which is turning to March 16th ) 1.T: Lets sing the Good morning song. ( Sing the song together) 2.T: Revise the numbers from 1 to 31 by counting the students in class. Ask the students to count the students together。 （通过唱歌的形式调动学生的学习参

3、与积极性，并且让学生重温韵律为后面的生日歌曲奠定基础。复习1到31英文数字为后面的日期的读法做好准备。） Step Two : Presentation 1.Show them the calendar, and ask “ Whats the date today?” and help the student answer “ Its December 5th.” By looking at the calendar. Tell them the more dates with the calendar. 2.Ask a boy “ When is your birthday ?” and

He can speak the date in Chinese .Then let him repeat in English. 3.Notice the dates , and write the question and the answer on the blackboard . 4.Teach the dates words and write them on the blackboard like : January 1st February 2nd March 3rd . Ask four students for their birthday and then write a report. 2 .Ask your parents birthday or the other family Members birthday and write a report. 教学反思 ： 我认为本节课有三个成功之处： 1. 学生通过数数来复习1到31 的基数词，这一活动简单易行，让学生在实际操作中运用，体验所学的语言知识，并为学习日期的说法起到了很好的引导作用。体现了在用中学的思想。通过这样的活动，摆脱了机械的读，写，学生非常乐意去学习

10、，有效的培养了学生的学习兴趣。 2. 利用日历教学十二个月生词，形象直观，并通过歌曲来练习，学生在欢快的歌声中无形地掌握了十个月的单词的读音，书写及顺序，学的轻松愉快，而且记忆牢固。 3. 学生在初步掌握了 When is your birthday ? 句型之后，小组练习互相询问生日，不仅在任务中巩固语言并且增进了同学之间的情感，培养了学生团结，合作的品质和合作，探究的精神以及用所学语言解决实际问题的能力。 此外，课外作业的布置也有效的巩固了所学语言知识，学生的知识得到了有益的延伸。 案例片段(一) 思考的问题：1如何将科学性和思想性统一的教学原则贯穿于课堂教学之中,拓展英语学科的育人价值？

11、拓展英语学科的育人价值案例片段描述： 我在教学When is your birthday？时设计了以下三个片段。片段一，为了引出“birthday”这一话题，我与学生进行了以下对话：Teacher: Excuse me. When is your birthday? Student A: On February the eleventh Teacher: Do you know your fathers / mothers birthday? StudentA:?片段二，在谈到切蛋糕庆祝生日时，我这样问道：Teacher: Now Ann will cut her birthday cake
