The causeway lies to the north of water in take cha nn el. It 552m long. The cross sect ion is trap ezoid, its top

6、 width is 11.9m and the base width is 32.5m. The ratio of slope is 1:2, and the slope is p rotected by rock and CIB. The con structi on of causeway in cludes soil impro veme nt, core rock, rock bottom scour protection, armour stone two layers, 3t CIB and so on. One permanent work road and two reta i

7、ning walls are set up on the causeway. The con crete surface is 250mm thick and the con crete grade is C30.The two retai ning walls are made of rubble masonry and rubble con crete.The core rock is 5100kg, and the toe of the slope is smaller rubble which is covered by 150300 kg rock bottom scour prot

8、ection. The rock of bedding layer is 75150kg. The causeway are all covered by 10001500kg armour sto ne two layers except from mileage K+502 to mileage K+552 that is covered by CIB.The locati on of causeway is show n in Figure 1, and the typ ical cross sect ion can be see n in Figure 2.-3 h aF苗胡-七-12

23、con struct ion and guara ntee the no rmal water supply and po wer supply. Check the lighting equipment, tools, machines, equipment, other electrical equipment and route line to ensure the no rmal po wer supply.3.5.2 Working areaThe surface of working grounding on site shall be smooth to provide the

24、convenient condition for con struct ion mach ines and equipment to effectively pro ceed the work. The road to the site shall be accessible to satisfy the no rmal entry and exit of con structi on vehicle.3.5.3 Working environmentThe request to the road and work ing ground: en sure the road to the sit

25、e is accessible and is cleared away on time. The layout of site shall be reas on able, clea n and is kept in order.3.5.4 P revious working p rocedureIf the p revious pro cedure is unq ualified for acce ptan ce, the next p rocedure shall not be p receded.4 Method statement and safety and quality cont

26、rol measures4.1 General method statementcon struct ion p recedure4.2 Working steps and method(1) Prep aratio ns for con struct ion Mecha ni cal equipment and materials used for the project are transported to the scene Surveyors calculate and set out the coord in ates of the causeway. The raw materia

27、ls such as geotextile, maotar and con crete are up to the the sta ndards.(2) Survey and lofti ngAccord ing to the con struct ion draw in gs, the surveyors set out the axes po siti on of the causeway by tatal stati on and p rotect them. Accord ing to the desig n and con structi on requireme nts, they

28、 n eed to determ in ate the range of the causeway, and mark the boun dary by p ale grey.(3) P ush core stoneThe core stone from mileage K0+0K0+150 should be pu shed to elevati on +1.0m directly in accorda nee with the con struct ion draw in gs. The backfill is mainly sea sand and broke n stone. Rais

29、e the core stone stratifiedly after the soil improvement. From mileage K0+150K0+552, soil improvement on the sea first starts, the n raise the core stone to the desig ned elevati on.The core stone is transp orted to the scene by dump trucks. Crawler dozer pu shes the stone to the desig ned elevati o

30、n directly whe n con struct ing on land every 3050m. When pushing the stone, the slope will be con structed accord ing to the desig n requireme nt.(4) Bottom p rotectio nWhen the core stone is pu shed to the desig ned elevati on, bottom p rotect ion follows immediately. Dump trucks help excavator to

31、 push the stone.The determ in atio n of the area of riprap ado pts traditi onal localizati on method. First the surveyors set out the con trol direct ion in side of the causeway, the n con trol the wheelbase by line rope, and at last move the bottom-du mp barge to the desig n po siti on. After confi

32、rming the po siti on of the bottom-du mp barge, start rock riprap. The po siti on must be strictly con trolled. Heave the lead to measure the depth of water timelyin thecourse of rock riprap, get the elevati on of the ston e,a nd the n know the in formati on of rock riprap.(5) Slo pe trimmi ngSmalle

33、r rubble and crushed stone are transported to the scene by dump trucks. Excavator helps slope trimmi ng. Workers pave geotextile. The stone supp liers transport armour stone and rock beddi ng layer to the scene. Whe n slope trim ming, the surveyors slope the stone by bamboo.7 AJ /7(6)Soil impro veme

34、 ntWe choose vibrati on pile mach ine to improve soil on land. On the sea, vibrati on pile machi ne in company with 80t crawler crane imp roves soil.Steel tubes are made-up articles which are manu factured bypro fessi onal manu facturers. GPS p ositi onsthe steel tube p iles and the total stati on c

35、hecks. Pile driv ing barge helps p ile-drive and D-100 diesel hammer hammers the p iles.After PDA detectio n, the work p latform will be built.Work boat helps the con struct ion of vibroflotati on stone and vibroflotati on comp acti on and the con struct ion pro cess will be in strict accorda nee wi

36、th the outl ine of test p ile.4-口9*wH、3奇叮3 T Ar 讥 h. h - ;r厂.-心(7) Prefabrication and installation of CIBFrom K0+502K0+552, the causeway is covered by CIB. CIB will p refabricated in p recast yard and will be transport to the scene by p latform lorry.The sheet steel formworks of CIB are customized.

37、Before prefabricating, they should be checked. The surface of formworks should be smooth and glabrous. The joint should be smooth, tight and can leak mortar. Brush release age nt on the surface. Assemble pi eces of formworks with the help of truck crane on the base. And whe n assembli ng them, corre

38、ct the size and tighte n the bolt. Guara ntee that the sha pe, li ne and size are with in the error ran ge. To prevent mortar leakage, p aste rubber stopper on the joint and the con tact surface of the base and formwork. The time of formwork removal is releva nt to the temp erature and in itial sett

39、 ing stre ngth. When removi ng formwork, the surface and edges of con crete block can be broke n. First draw out chucks which fix the formwork. Second un screw the bolts. Third sep arate the p ieces of the formwork by jack. At last lift the formwork by truck crane. When sli nging it, prevent the for

40、mwork from crash ing the con crete block. Put the formworks on the sp ecific locati on. Clea n them and brush release age nt on the surface before use.CIB will be loaded on the p latform lorry by truck crane and the p latform lorry will transport them to the sce ne. The crawler crane in stalls the C

41、IB on the outside and in side of causeway at the same time.In stalli ng CIB follows the slope trimmi ng and decrease exp osure durati on of stones as far as po ssible to reduce the damage of wave .In stall the CIB from bottom to top.”忖4*f 二ch T.T_-r *(8) Mortar rubble masonry.Dump truck transport th

42、e stones the the scene. Set out the range of mortar rubble masonry accord ing to the desig n requireme nt. Support frame con struct ion and hang lines sheet to masonry.The sequenee of masonry is following: angle-surface-abdomen. The angle stones are to confirm the position and shape of structure and

43、 the square and big stones are better. In necessity mend them, and then sp read slutty before p lac ing them. The po siti on of an gle stones must be accurate. After p laci ng them, hang the lines on the an gle ston es. The surface stones can be differe nt in len gth in order to link up the abdome n

44、 stones interlacedly. The surface stones should be smooth and their thickness equals to angle stones. The surface stones should be men ded. And the n sp read slutty. Put the stones on the slutty, and p ress mortar.The abdomen stones can be small. Before masonry, spread mortar first. When placing the

45、 first layer ston es, the big side should face dow n. Reduce the gap betwee n the stones to the greatest exte nt. Then fill 1/31/2 of the gap with mortar and p lace suitable ston es. Knock the stones gen tly by hammer to force them into mortar. Make level every third layer.Leave the ste ps in the st

46、agger to guara ntee the globality of structure. If the masonry breaks off, fill the gap with mortar or gravel and tamp them. Don spread mortar and cover this place. Clean and water it before masonry aga in.(9) Rubble con creteThe sheet steel formworks are customized. The frameworks should be firm, s

47、traight and smooth when in stalli ng them. Then check them. Brush release age nt on the surface and p aste rubber stopper or cover p lastic film on the joint.Before concreting, spread a layer of 815cm concrete and place stones on it. After the stones insert it about one half, the n con crete to fill

48、 the gap. Place the stones and con crete layer-by-layer un til it reaches the top n early. Reta in 10cm thick con crete coveri ng the top. When sp readi ng con crete, vibrate con crete at the same time to fill the gap.The stones should p laced evenly. The big side faces dow n and the small side face

49、s up. The sp ace betwee n stones is more tha n 10cm. The stones are not less tha n 15cm away from the formworks. After con cret ing, float the surface of concrete. The time of formwork removal is relevant to the temperature and initial setting strength. When removing formworks, the surface and edges

50、 of structure cant be broken. After formwork removal, water and protect it.(10) Pavement structure constructionBefore pavement construction, spread the smaller rubble and crushed stone on the core rock according to the design requirement. Check the grade elevation, panel piece and the position of ex

51、pansion joint and structure before formworks. The formworks are timber formworks. They should be solid, verzugsram and have no corrosion, distortion and crack. Before use, they should be soaked. The thickness of straight line portion should thicker than 50mm. Place one support device every 0.81m. Th

52、e contact surface between formworks and concrete and the top surface of formworks should be planed. Formworks should be connected smoothly. After checking them, brush release agent on the surface, paste rubber stopper or cover plastic film on the joint.Unload the concrete uniformly. The speed of unl

53、oading fits with the speed of spreading concrete. When spreding it, vibrate the concrete. After vibrating, plaster the concrete and cut joint timely. After the curing period of concrete, pour crack timely. After concreting, sprinkle water to cure it. The curing time is up to concrete bending strengt

54、h, and 1421d may be better. When concrete bending strength reaches 40% of the design bending strength, people can walk on it. When concrete bending strength reaches the design bending strength and finish the joint-cutting, open traffic.5 Working quality standard and inspection request5.1 Working qua

55、lity standard(1) Survey control: When pushing the core stones, put lines timely. When slope trimming, put lines according to the width of requirement.(2) Slope trimming: Check the surface visually (when the water is clear, inspect by eyes; when the water is muddy, measure by depth finder). During sl

56、ope trimming, measure the section, control the gradient of slope and try to avoid higher or lower locality.(3) Installation of CIB: Contact local meteorological department, and pay close attention to the weather. Be ready for the gale. Protect the causeway by CIB ahead of schedule. Transport the CIB to the scene only when the strength reaches the de
