The important and difficult points in this lesson: Important points: Learn the basic structure of the present progressive passive Voice. Difficult points: Apply the structure flexibly
3、 and correctly in different contexts.II. Teaching aims 1. Knowledge aims: Acquire the knowledge of the present progressive passive voice systematically and entirely. 2. Ability aims: Apply the structure in different contexts. 3. Emotional aims: Be aware of the social responsibility of wildlife prote
4、ction.According to the gradualness of learning, the first two processes are divided into six sub-aims: knowing, understanding, applying, analyzing, creating and evaluating. III. Teaching proceduresStep1:Lead-in (Knowing) Show students some pictures about antelopes in gunshot, which can arouse studen
5、ts interest and draw their attention to the topic today. Show these sentences to students: “We are being killed for the wool beneath our stomachs.” (L.9) “Our fur is being used to make sweaters for people like you.”(L.10) Present a piece of video and ask, “What else animals are being killed?” S: The
6、 tiger is being killed for its bones. The elephant is being killed for its ivory. By observing sentences on the screen, students are asked to find out what these sentences have in common. The structure “be being done” is led out.设计意图:通过声音、图片、视频等视觉听觉上的刺激,使学生快速进入话题。再通过句子的呈现,旨在让学生自然而然地认识新的语法结构。Step2. M

Show students the announcement posted on the public website of WWF China that they are recruiting volunteers for wildlife protection. Ask students if theyd like to participate in it. If yes, they need to write a letter to the ch
