2、 and authorized documenls issued by the competent authorities referred to in form (2) of the ministerial decree no. 662 of 2008. (the components of this file are usually collected and completed during the experimental years while the file presented with the application form is preliminary).2. after

3、the approval of the preliminary file, the stakeholder presents a preliminary program containing all the required data for a suggested efficacy testing of the pesticide this program is reviewed by the committeesecretariat.3. after reviewing and approving of the program by both parties, thestakeholder

4、 presents four original copies of it and the pesticide is set for the first year trial program the four originals should be handed to and kept by:& the experimentation officer assignod by the agricultural pesticides committee in the competent institution or laboratory-b the pesticides central la

5、boratory.c. the stakeholder.d the committee secretariat.4. the pesticide is experimentecl for a certain period that depends on its chemical group and in accordanee with article 6 of the ministerial decree no. 662 of 2008 as fol 1ows:a. traditional pesticides; three successive and similar agricultura

6、l seasons.b biopesticides and plant extracts; two successive and si milar agricultural seaso ns.c. copper compounds, sulfur, mineral oils and different types of attractants provided that they are not mixed with traditional pesticides; one agricuitural season.5 according to article 5 of the ministeri

7、al decree no. 662 of 2008, the pesticide is not to be registered before the pesticide central laboratory identifies its chemical and physical properties, upon which the registration is based, nor before it passes al 1 the experimental phases and shows acceptable efficacy against the targeted pest.6.

8、 in case the pesticide passes the experimental phases and meets the technical criteria, a recommendation notice for the results is issued in accordance with the experiments results and its approval by the competent researchlaboratory or institution. the recommendation notice should be signed by the

9、person in charge of experimentation at the competent institution,submitted to the committee and authorized by its secretary.7. the agricultural pesticides committee issues its approval of registering the pesticide after the registration filo and the pesticide dossier is judged according to form (2)

10、attached to the ministerial decree no. 662 of 2008 prior to this, the committee should be informed with the resuits of judgment and should approve as per article 9.8the registration certificate is issued according to form (5) attached to the ministerial decree no. 662 of 2008 and is signed by either

11、 the chairman or the vice chairman of the committee. prior to this, it should be insured that the active ingredient is included in annex (1) attached to the ministerial decree no. 630 if 2007.9 the registration certificate is issued in three copies; one given to the applicant, one kept in the commit

12、tee secretariat and the third sent to the pesticide central laboratory (article 6 of the ministerial decree no. 662 of 2008)10. the registration certificate is valid for and expires after six years from the date of issuing, as reported in article 11 of the ministerial decree no. 622 of 2008 register

13、ing the efficacy of the pesticide is a must before the first three years of the validity of the registration certificate lapses.1. scientific regional offices of pesticides manufacturing firms functioning in egypt (dow agro science - depon - passive - sumitomo - rotam agrochemical singnit) are not c

14、ertified to trade in agricultural pesticides.2. importing of pesticides should not be approved of uni ess the applicant or importer is certified to trade in pesticides, according to article 18 of the ministerial decree no. 622 of 2008. shipments are released only whenpresenting a copy of a valid agr

15、icultural pesticides trading certification. procedures for the renewal of pesticides registration in egypt1. the stakeholder should present an application for renewing the registration certificate after te pesticide concerned passes the latest efficacy test (reevaluation) (article 11 of the minister

16、ial decree no. 622 of 2008), and proves identical to the technical criteria, on the basis of which it was registered, in terms of the chemical and physical properties, the percentage of impurities and the assessment of the pre-harvest interval.2. the recommendation is issued in accordance with the e

17、xperimentation results. also, the results should be authorized by the competentinstitution/1 aboratory (article 6) and submitted to the conimittee. the reconunendation is signed by the experimentation officer assigned by the committee from at the competent institution ond authorized by the committee

18、 secretary3. documents required for the renewal of the registration certificate are:a. the original registration certificate to be renewedb the original analysis certificate issued by the pcsticides central laboratory.c. the original recommendation document for the pesticide.d the local study of the

19、 pre-harvest interval issued by the pesticides central laboratory.4. the renewal applications are submitted to the committee technical secretariat who suggests approval/denial.5. the registration certificate is issued according to form (5) attached to the ministerial decree no. 622 of 2008. tt is signed by the committee chairman or vice chairman having insured that the active ingredient is included in annex (1) attached to the ministerial decree no.
