1、Unit 10 Im going to be a basketball player.一、教材分析本单元是Go for it八年级(上)unit 10,主要是围绕职业这一话题展开各种教学活动,本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生运用知识的能力,并让学生能在做中学,通过课堂的各种实践活动准确地运用英语来表达。1语言知识本单元要求掌握以下重点词汇:computer programmer, professional, basketball player, engineer, pilot, take lessons, grades, dream job, grow
2、up, move to, exhibition, resolutions, get good grades, get a part-time job, make more friends.2. 语言功能:描述将来的打算3语言目标:a. What do you want to be when you grow up? Im going to be a computer programmer.b. How are you going to do that? Im going to study computer science.4. 语言结构:a. be going to表示将来。b. want t
3、o bec. what, where, when, how引导的特殊疑问句。5学习策略与思维技巧 a. 联系情境会话。 b. 角色扮演。二、教学的重点和难点基于上述的分析,确定本单元的教学重点为词汇;运用What do you want to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that?来询问将来的打算以及描述将来的打算。教学难点为运用what, where, when, how引导的特殊疑问句来询问将来来的打算以及描述将来的打算。三、教学方法1本单元的话题与学生的生活联系紧密,基于此,创设生活化的真实情景,引导学生在语言学习中学习语言,

Step 2 Lead-in 2c询问同学Do you still remember Cheng Han?之后向大家展示幻灯片, 并请两位同学进行问答:Whats Cheng Han going to be?Where is he going to move? 新知识的导入建立在已掌握的旧知识基础之上,学生的现实生活经验有助于他们理解能力的提高。他们所学的新知识需要借助原有的生活经验,才容易被理解和接受。Step 3 Pairwork 再向大家展示3张幻灯片,要求同学二人一组,仿造2c 编新对话。Step 4 Presentation 教新单词展示1张关于巴黎的幻灯片,让同学思考:这
12、是一座怎样的城市?借此教新单词:artist,exhibition 等。Step 5 Reading 3a 展示1张女孩的照片在幻灯片上,告诉同学们:Her name is Tian Tian.She wrote a diary to tell us about her future.Lets read it and underline the things that she is going to do. 学生快速阅读之后并回答:What is she going to do?Where is she going to move? 此环节教之于阅读技巧:带着问题阅读,具有针对性,学生能抓住文
13、章大意,也便于学生快速找到答案。Step 6 Explain the language items. 处理了上面的问题后,再对甜甜的日记中部分知识点给以解释,并展示在幻灯片上。 此环节属于精读,有助于学生详细理解全文句型结构等。Step 7 Pairwork 3b先让两位学生阅读对话,其余学生听并回答What is she going to do? Where is she going to work? 再让学生据自己的理想完成表格,最后仿照3b进行分组活动。 学习的过程是自我生成的过程,这种生成是他人无法取代的,是由内向外的生长,而不是由外向内的灌输。因此,在课堂教学中,教师一定要把时间和空
14、间还给学生,让学生最大限度的扮演主角。Step 8 Groupwork 4 展示一张2008奥运会会标在幻灯片上,询问学生:奥运会召开期间你打算做些什么?在学生思考好后让其进行分组讨论活动。 此环节使学生在轻松愉快的气氛中学习英语,让他们感到学习是一种乐趣,而不是负担,从而乐于开口说英语,提高学习效率。Step 9 Section A已学完后来个语法梳理,让学生对所学知识归纳总结 。此环节既体现了学以致用,又体现了学科间的整合。Step 10 Homework 1.读,记读记本节课所学单词. 2.以 My dream job 为题写一篇作文,介绍自己未来理想的工作. 15、宜昌市八中 刘世平Step 1 Lead in the new lesson 由过新年许愿、谈新年设想来导入新课,该话题应该是学生很感兴趣的话题,有亲身经历合体会,新课的导入便顺理成章,水到渠成。 新知识需要借助原有的生活经验,才容易被理解和接受。Step 2 To lean the verb phrases通过图片的内容来导入动词词组,充分体现情景教学。Step 3 Pairwork -What are you going to do next year? -Im going to +V原+通过活动来加强对所学知识的理解。Step 4 1a.
