1、仙 居 概 况仙居位于浙江省东南部，全县地域面积2000平方公里，现辖3个街道、7个镇、10个乡，723个行政村，总人口50万。2011年，全县生产总值116亿元，财政总收入13亿元，地方财政收入6.9亿元，城镇居民人均可支配收入 22886元，农民人均纯收入9376元。人文仙居，千年底蕴。东晋永和三年（公元347年）立县，名乐安，五代时期（公元 930 年）改为永安，北宋景德四年（公元1007年）真宗皇帝以其“洞天名山，屏蔽周卫，而多神仙之宅”诏改永安为仙居，意为“仙人居住的地方”。境内文物古迹众多，有距今7000多年的下汤新石器文化遗址，世界现存最早的照明路灯明代石柱路灯，国内八大奇文之一

2、-蝌蚪文，有江南第一古寺-大兴寺，道家第十洞天-括苍洞，有被称为“华东第一龙型古街”-皤滩古镇、宋代大理学家朱熹两度前来讲学的桐江书院等。历代人才辈出，有晚唐著名诗人项斯、元代集诗、书、画“三绝”的柯九思、明代勇斗严嵩的左都御史吴时来等。仙居是“中国民间艺术之乡”，卷地龙、跳跳马、鲤鱼跳龙门等民间艺术大放异彩，针刺无骨花灯列入首批国家非物质文化遗产。生态仙居，休闲胜地。森林覆盖率77.9%，水资源极为丰富,空气和水质均达一类标准，是浙江省重要的水源涵养和生物多样性生态功能区。境内遍布奇峰异石，流湍飞瀑，幽谷清溪，翠竹秀林，集“奇、险、清、幽”于一体，汇“峰、瀑、溪、林”于一地，古人赞曰“天台幽

3、深、雁荡奇崛，仙居兼而有之”。现有以神仙居景区为核心的国家级风景名胜区、国家级森林公园和国家4A级旅游区158平方公里，形成了“山、水、林、古、月”特色景区框架。农家乐休闲旅游蓬勃兴起，已初步形成了农家食宿型、果园采摘型、垂钓休闲型、民俗文化型等多种休闲旅游方式，每年举办的油菜花节、杨梅节独具特色。目前正在积极推进国家级5A景区和国家级生态县创建。城市综合体，中华大佛字文化博览园、温泉城、国际养老院、永安溪绿道等一大批项目已在规划筹建之中。特色仙居，绿色产业。仙居是全国重要的医药中间体产品出口基地，也是全国最大的木制工艺品出口基地，荣获“中国工艺礼品之都”称号，工艺、医药两大传统产业正在提升层

4、次、转型升级；符合国家产业导向、市场前景良好、可持续发展的新兴产业和高新技术产业正在逐步发展壮大，初步形成了以汽摩配、电子电器、新能源、新材料、生物制药等为主导的现代产业集群。仙居生态农业蓬勃发展,形成了杨梅、有机茶、仙居鸡等特色主导产业。仙居杨梅被认定为“中国驰名商标”， 仙居鸡等多个农产品通过国家地理标志产品认定，仙居相继被评为“中国杨梅之乡”、“中国有机茶之乡”等。活力仙居，后发崛起。台金、诸永两条高速公路纵横全境、台金铁路正在规划筹建之中，1-3小时交通圈涵盖了沪、杭、甬、温、绍等大中城市，仙居已成为浙东南的交通小枢纽。“全省十大最具投资价值”的仙居经济开发区已被列入省“十二五” 重点

Per capita disposable income of its urban residents is RMB 22, 886 yuan and per capita net income of its farmers is RMB 9,376 yuan.Remarkable Xianju enjoys a 1000-year history with a galaxy of talents. Xianju county was first established in 347 A

8、.D. (the 3rd year of Emperor Mus Yonghe reign) in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It was originally named “Lean”. Then in 1007 A.D. (the 4th year of Jingde reign) in the Northern Song Dynasty, Emperor Zhengzong visited it and remarked, “The mountains here are more scenic than the surrounding ones and there

9、 are nice caves and grottoes, many of which may be abodes of celestial beings”. So he ordered the county to be renamed “Xianju”(“仙居” meaning “immortals or fairys dwelling place”). It boasts of its many cultural relics and historic sites, including the Stone Culture (which can trace back to about 700

10、0 years ago), the Stone-pillar Street Lamp in the Ming dynasty (the world's earliest existing lighting lamp), the marvellous written language ketouwen (tadpole-shaped ancient Chinese characters), Daxing Temple (the first of ancient temples in the South of Yangtze River), Kuocang Caves (the tenth

11、 of the Taoist), Potan Ancient Street (the first dragon-like ancient street of East China) and Tongjiang Academy where Zhu Xi, the scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty(11271276) gave lectures twice. A number of outstanding ancients did great deads. Just name a few of them: Xiangsi of the Tang Dynast

12、y (618907) was famous for his poetry in the capital; Ke Jiusi of the Yuan Dynasty(12061368) was excellent in poetry, calligraphy and painting; Wu Shilai (the left censor) of the Ming dynasty(1368-1644) struggled bravely against Yan Song (the prime minister). Xianju is " the town of Chinese folk

13、 art ", showing brilliant talents in such folk art as the rolling dragons, jumping horses and Carps Jumping over the Dragon Gate. Moreover, the needled boneless festive lanterns are listed in the first national intangible cultural heritage.Ecological Xianju is a resort for relaxation. Xianju is

14、 an important ecological function region of water conservation and biodiversity with a forest coverage rate of 77.9%, rich water resources and fresh air of first-class standard. It has charming scenery with unique peaks and bizarre rocks, deep valleys and clear streams, green woods and verdant bambo

It has integrated “grotesque, ruggedness, clearness and serenity” into one body and gathered “peaks, waterfalls, streams and forests” in one place as a natural park, which was praised by our ancestors as “Xianju combined the serenity of Tiantai Mountain and peculiarity of Yandang mountain”. 16、it has been listed as the Famous National Scenic Zone of an area of 158 square kilometers, with its main scenic areas and spots like Fairyland Scenic Area, the National Forest Park and the National 4 A Level Tourist Area. It has formed a scenic frame of five characteristics as “mountains, waters, fo

17、rests, ancient and moon”. Agritainment relaxing tourism is booming in such various forms as boarding and lodging, fruit picking, fishing and folk culture experiencing in the countryside. The Rape Flowers Festival and Waxberry Festival are held annually with unique features. At present Xianju is acti

Furthermore, a large number of projects have been under planning and preparation, including the Urban Complex, the Cultural Expo of “佛” (Buddha) (which is the largest carved character on the cliff in the worl

Xianju is an important exporting base for medical intermediates of the country and as well the largest exporting base of wooden arts and crafts. It is h

20、onored as “the Capital of Arts & Gifts in China”. The two traditional industries of arts and crafts and pharmaceutical industry are promoting and upgrading. Complying with the national industrial guidance, the sustainable development of new industries and high and new technology industries, with

21、 a good market prospect, are gradually expanding and growing into preliminary modern industrial clusters with the following as its leading industries: motorcycle and automobile fittings, electronic appliances, new energy and new materials, and biopharmaceuticals. Xianju eco-agriculture has been deve

22、loping vigorously and formed some leading agricultural industries like the waxberry, organic tea and Xianju chickens. Xianju waxberry has been identified as "a famous Chinese trademark". And mutiple agricultural products, like Xianju chickens, has been ratified by the national geographical
