2、，学以致用。把学生作为教学的主体，尽量 满足不同学生的需要，让学生在一个轻松、愉悦的氛围中进行学习。教学背景分析教材分析本节课选取的是新课标人教版教材，第1模块，第5单元，中心话题是“伟大的品格、几位伟人的生平”本文是一篇记叙文，标题是“Elias Story”，由伊莱亚斯向我们叙述曼德拉的故事。这样的写法有别于惯常采用的平铺直叙，虽然只反映出曼德拉的一个侧面，但读起来却更亲切感人，引人入胜，还留给了学生更多的思 考空间。本课书分为两课时进行处理。第一课时：进行阅读理解教学，指导学生使用各种学习策略去深层理解文章。 第二课时进行词汇和语法学习：在第一课时的基础上，落实词汇知识，在文意理解的基础

3、上，帮助学生了解、 熟悉并初步掌握由 where,whe n,why,介词+关系代词引导的定语从句的用法。本教学设计是本课书的第一课时。 学情分析授课对象是平谷区二类校高一普通班学生，39人，整体英语水平中等偏下，英语基础薄弱生。大部分学生思维活跃，具有较强的英语学习欲望，乐于合作。学生用英语表达的能力很差，词汇、句式储备有限，因此怯 于用英语表达。学生能阅读情节简单的记叙文，但不善于根据文章进行推理判断。教学方式任务型教学，课堂主要通过个人活动，小组讨论和教师指导等形式进行教学。教学手段计算机多媒体辅助教学及板书。技术准备及前期教学准备1. 课前布置预习作业。2.教学目标设计在本节课结束时，
