Revise the pronouns He and She by saying them as you point to a boy and a girl. Then write these words on the board and ask the pupils to stand under the co

3、rrect one for them.2.Revise tall and short by pointing out the difference in their height, saying He/Shes tall/short. Write the adjectives on the board. Ask the pupils to repeat the sentences after you. Repeat the process with two more pupils of different height and ask the pupils to make sentences

4、about them. 3.Then draw a simple family portrait of a father, mother and two children-a bother and a sister. Point to each member of the family and say father, mother, brother and sister. Ask the pupils to repeat after you. Then draw another man. Draw an arrow from him to the father and say brother.

5、draw an arrow from the children to him and say uncle. Draw a child for the man and woman. Draw an arrow pointing both ways from the brother and sister to the child and say cousin. Ask the pupils repeat after you as you say each word.4、Show transparency and play the Pupils Book Cassette.Point to the

6、corresponding speech bubbles when the characters speak. Continue to play the cassette and ask the pupils to repeat after the beeps. Do the same with the vocabulary items.三、Practice 1、Show transparency of the picture without the words. Say a word, e.g. a clerk, and ask individual pupils to identify t

7、he correct character in the picture. Then point to the characters in the picture and ask the pupils to tell you the words.2. Point out the difference in the length of their hair, saying He/She has long/short hair. Write long hair and short hair on the board

11、.2. Draw two people on the board one with big ears and small eyes, the other with small ears and big eyes. Point to the eyes and say eyes. Do the same for the other facial feature to revise their names. Then say He/She has big ears. He/She has small eyes as you point to the correct drawing. 3.Show t

12、ransparency and play the pupils book cassette. Point to the corresponding speech bubble when the boy and the girl speak. Continue to play the cassette and ask the pupils to repeat after the beeps. Do the same with the vocabulary items.三.Practice1、(Books closed.) Show transparency and point to the pi

13、cture at the bottom of the page.2. Demonstrate what you want the pupils to do. Draw a picture on the board. It does not have to be perfect. Point to it and say This is (name). Hes/Shes my cousin. Hes a boy./Shes a girl. He/She has short hair/ big eyes/ small ears, etc. point to the sentence models i

14、n the speech bubble at the bottom of the page as you say each sentence.3、Now ask the pupils to draw a picture of their cousin. If pupils dont have a cousin, they can draw an imaginary one.4. When they are finished, ask them to work in pairs, show their partner and describe their cousin using the sen
