1、PEP Book 4 Unit 4 At a farm 教学理念英语课程标准注重培养学生的学习兴趣,突出语言的实践性和交际性,注重培养学生自主学习能力的培养。本科教学中始终注重采用多种教学手段激发学生的学习兴趣,培养其大胆说英语的习惯,并注重把所学知识运用于实际生活之中。学情分析四年级的学生已有一年多的英语学习经验,多数学生能用基本的口语进行交流,具有一定的口语交际能力,本课的教学设计符合四年级的特点,能较好地激发学生学习英语的兴趣。 教材分析 教版小学英语四年级下册第六单元第一课时,内容主要教会学生六个关于动物的单词及其复数形式,并能运用句型:what are they?They are -

They are- .能听懂与农场有关的简单的指令,并做出相应的动作。3、 情感目标:激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生

3、树立学习英语的自信心,培养学的合作交流能力,教育学生要爱护动物。          教学重难点教学重点:1、掌握农场上常见的牲畜的名称hen、cow、goat、lamb、horse、Sheep及其复数形式。 2、句型:What are they? They are -.     教学难点:所学单词复数形式的发音以及复数形式表达。教具准备 flashcards、tape、CAI教学过程 Step 1 Warm-up1、 Greetings T: Good morning, boys and gir

4、ls.Ss: Good morning ,teacher.T: Nice to meet you.Ss: Nice to meet you.T: How are you?Ss: Fine.2、 T:Lets sing an English song: Theyre in the zoo. 3、 T: Do you like animals in the zoo?Ss: YesT: Do you like animals on the farm?Ss: Yes.T: There are some animals on the farm .Lets go to the farm together.

5、 ( 设计意图:通过歌曲导入带领学生复习已学的动物类单词,由此激发学生想去农场看小动物的念头,为新课教学做铺垫。)Step 2 Presentation1、CIA: dog、cat、rabbit、duck、pig. Have several students to say the animals.2、T: Their new friends are coming.3、Show the picture of a hen. Teacher ask“whats this?”Encourage a student to answer: Its a hen. Teacher holds up the w

6、ord card and reads it. Students follow. Have individuals read.3、 Do the same with“goat、sheep”.A game: Who is the first?4、 Show the picture of a lamb. Teacher says: Its a lovely baby. Whats this? Encourage a student to answer: Its a lamb. Teacher says: lamb、lamb. Its a lamb. Students follow.A game; n

Whats missing?( 设计意图:通过简单而又趣味性强的课件,让学生很快理解和掌握了有关农场动物的读法及意思,并较容易的区别了单词goat和sheep。几个简单易行的小游戏的运用,也较好的巩固了新知。学生学习兴趣浓厚,都愿意开口大胆说英语。)Step 3 Presentation1、 Teacher says: this farm is too sm

Teacher and students count the hens together :one hen、two hens、Three hens、four hens. Teacher asks: what are they? They are hens. Teacher reads the sentence using three patterns. S
