The first period serves as an introduc

2、tion and lead-in part. Activity 1a introduces some key vocabulary. Activity 1b gives students practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation. Activity 1c gives students an opportunity to practice their speaking skill using the target language. In this period students can learn
