3、t speed without having to apply continual foot pressure to the accelerator pedal. Selected cruise speeds are easily maintained, and speed can be easily changed. Several override systems also allow the vehicle to be accelerated, slowed, or stopped.巡航控制系统可以使得驾驶员无需持续踩动加速踏板而保持车辆恒速行驶.系统容易地保持在设定地巡航速度上 ,也便

Usually the driver has the ability to turn the cruise control on and off as well as increase or decrease the s

Some of the common components of a cruise control system include the servo, push button controls, electric release

There are usually several functions

The switch has a main on/off control switch, a set/coast (cruise> switch, and a resume/accelerate

A transducer is a device that uses an electrical signal as the input. The transducer changes the electrical signal to mechanical moti

The servo unit positions the throttle to maintain the desired car speed by receiving a controlled amount of vacu
15、um from the transducer. The drawing at the top shows the servo being engaged. The

17、alls for the servo to be energized or turned on, a small solenoid is energized inside the servo. This is shown as the Bottom solenoid. When the computer energizes this solenoid, it causes the vacuum valve to open on the bottom.当计算机启动伺服系统 ,一个位于伺服器内地小电磁线圈通电.这个小电磁线圈被称作底部线圈 .当计算机使得这个线圈通电 ,它打开位于底部地真空阀 .幻
18、灯片 18When this happens, vacuum from the intake manifold is directed to the left-hand side of the servo diaphragm. The vacuum causes the spring and the rubber diaphragm to move to the left. As the spring and diaphragm move to the left, the throttle plate is positioned to keep the vehicle at a certain

A small spring inside the servo then opens the other end of the vacuum valve to allow atmospheric press

21、 that are operated by the position of the brake. When the brake pedal is depressed, the brake release switch disengages the cruise control system. A vacuum release valve is also used to disengage the system when the brake pedal is depressed.有两个根据制动踏板位置工作地开关.当踩下制动踏板 ,制动分离开关断开巡航控制系统 .当踩下制动踏板 ,真空释放阀也用来
22、断开巡航控制系统 .幻灯片 21On electronic cruise control systems, the brake release switch is used to signal other circuits as well. As the brake pedal is depressed, the lever moves. As the lever moves, it causes the cruise control circuit to disengage. The electrical connections complete the circuitry to the c

This switch disengages the cruise control the instant that the cl

Depending on the vehicle manufacturer and the type

Powertrain control module (PCM>-used to control the servo unit. The servo unit is again used to control the vacuum, which in turn controls the t

The solenoid valve constantly modulates vacuum to the servo in response to commands from the electronic controller. The speed sensor is located on the back of the speedometer cluster. It provides a signa
