In fact, you are wrong.Many people never thought about future and what they will be like.They never have a dream .Its not good for them.Only have dreams, then

6、ion.this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice.it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free.one hundred years later,
7、the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity.one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corne
8、rs of american society and finds himself an e_ile in his own land.and so weve e here today to dramatize a shameful condition.in a sense weve e to our nations capital to cash a check.when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independenc
9、e, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir.this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this

11、dreams.There I want to start my speech with two short stories.The first story happened when I was in primary school, I wrote in my position that my dream was to be a teacher when I grew up.Meanwhile, what my classmates wrote about their dreams was that he or she wanted to be a doctor, a scientist or
12、 an astronaut.The second story happened at my first year in university.At the careers planning class, when the teacher asked about our dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, “I want to be a farmer, because I grow up in a farmers family and I love to be engaged in agriculture.” When he sat d
13、own, everyone clapped.These two stories happened during my growth process, from which I got my understanding of dreams.When I was a child I believed that a dream must be a big dream, but when I grow up I find this big dream is so far away from me, I know little about it, and I have done nothing to achieve it, so its not my dream.My classmates answer let me know a real dream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great job, its about what you really want to be, and are willing to try every effort to pursue it.Because what makes a dream valuable is not just about the result, its
