27、t,like,aswellas,besides,ratherthan等引起的短语时,谓语动词的单复数与主语保持一致。如:Dr.Green,togetherwithhiswifeandtwosons,hasjustleftandwillreturnatfouro' clock.3 .由 or,either.or,neither.nor,notonly.butalso,not.but等连接两个名词或代词作主语时,谓语动词通常与邻近的名词或代词保持一致。如:Neitheryounorheknowsanythingaboutit.四、数词、量词作主语“分数+of+名词”构成的短语或 “ alo

28、tof/plentyof/a(large)quantityof/therestof+名词”构成的短语作主语时,谓语动词用单数还是复数取决于of后的名词的单复数。如:Halfofthestudentshavereadthenovel.?Halfofthefoodisun巾ttoeat.五、从句及其它作主语1 .单个名词性从句作主语时,谓语动词通常用单数形式。但and连接的两个名词性从句作主语如果 表示两个概念,谓语动词用复数。另外what引导的主语从句作主语时,谓语动词的单复数取决 于表语的单复数。如:,. 山./I I j IWhetherIhavepassedlastweek ' s
