I cant imagine working under such conditions.后跟-ing 的动词的顺口溜:避免,错过,(少)延期

38、 avoid, miss, postpone, put off建议,完成,(多)练习 suggest, finish, practice喜欢,想象,禁不住 enjoy, imagine, cant help承认,否定,(又)嫉妒 admit, deny, envy逃避,冒险,(莫)原谅 escape, risk, excuse忍受,保持,(不)介意 stand, keep, mind注:括号内的字是为了顺口而添加,无实际意义。2、有些动词短语跟动词-ing形式,但不跟不定式作宾语。 insist on, object to, be good at, lead to, put off, give

39、 up, look forward to, feel like, devoteto, get used to, pay attention to, get down to, etc. 3remember,forget,regret,try,mean,go on,stop,cant help等后面既可接动词的­ing形式作宾语,也可接动词不定式作宾语,但意义差别很大:Remember to take the umbrella with you. _I remember seeing her once somewhere._I forgot to take the umbrella wi
