1、Lesson 12 How Many Are There ?教学设计教学目标:知识目标:1、掌握可数名词变复数的三种形式,即在词尾直接加s ; 以s, x, ch, sh结尾加 es 以及men, women, children 等单词的不规则变化。 2、正确使用This is a/ an.和 Here is a/ an 句式来表达单数概念,用These are/ Here are many/ three来表达复数概念。教学重、难点:
2、0; 1. 重点:在语境中学习可数名词变复数的三种形式。 2、难点:区分运用This is/ Here is a/ an.和 These are/ Here are many/ three表达单复数概念并掌握men, women, children 等单词的不规则变化。教学步骤:Step 1、 Warming-up and leading Step2. Pencils and stamps1T: Today Jenny wants to give many things to them. Lets guess what t
3、hey are.First, it is a school thing and it looks like a line . What is it?Ss may give different answers, such as : Its a pen/ pencil/ ruler/I think its aT: Oh, I have a pencil. ( Show it ) Look! This is a pencil .and . ( 看图片或实物说句子)。Ss say sentences. “This is a pen / ruler /book”(设计意图:用一条
4、线让学生发挥想象,发散思维,说出多种答案,并自然引入“This is a”)2T: I need a ruler. Who has a ruler? Show me. Oh, here is a ruler. I need many school things. Show me ,please!Ss say sentences. “ Here is a” T: Jenny wants to give many things to the children. They look like many lines. What are they?Ss may say:
5、 They are/ I think they are pencils/ pens/ rulersT: Look! (出示实物)These are many pencils. And(点击课件出示图片,尽可能包括学生所说答案,引入These are并对比句式)3. T: Jenny has something else to give the children. It looks like a square. What is it?Ss may give different answers, such as a book, an eraser, a TV, a stam
6、pUsing the same way to show the plural forms and Ss say sentences with “These are” “ Here are”4.Ss discuss the question: How do the words get bigger?(课件出示一些单词,词尾以红字闪动)5.Practise the sentences.(操练句型)First choose the words and say sentences with “This is a” “These are” and then show the things and say
7、 “ Heres a” “Here are ”.Step3. Dresses ,dishes and buses T: Today Jenny goes to see a girl named Liu Fang . Lets see the differences between the two girls. Listen and fill in the form. 1) Here is an old dress. Liu Fang has only one dress.Here are many dresses. Jenny has many beautifu
8、l dresses.2) This is an old dish. Liu Fangs family has only one old dish.These are many dishes. Jennys family has many different dishes.3) Liu Fang walks to school , there is no bus.Jenny goes to school by bus. There are many buses at the bus stop.4) Liu Fang has no money, she has no pencil-box, no
9、watch or no glasses. Jenny has colourful pencil-boxes, new watches and new glasses.After finishing the form, check the answers, Ss talk about how the words get bigger.Step4. Men, women and children. T: The girl needs our help, many other children need our help, too.So many people are comi
