It focuses on the students abilities to gather information; deal with information; solveproblems and the abilities to think and express in English.2. Analysis of the studentsIn my class some students have known something
3、about the topic, because they have talked about it inthe previous period.But some long sentences are difficult for them to understand. They don en useEnglish to express themselves and communicate with others. Some students are not active in the classbecause they are afraid of making mistakes. So dur

Fast readingLear ning strategy: Skim min g-do not read word by word, but read key senten cesor paragraphs toimprove your readi ng speed.In this part ask the students to read the text qu
19、ickly for the first time and find out the main idea of thetext. Then ask them to read the text again carefully to obtain some details.
