1、中外文化差异。经常会听到这样一个故事:中国的父母带孩子去公园玩,当孩子跌倒时,绝大多数父母 会选择立刻上前扶起孩子,哄他别哭。而同样一个问题丢给外国父母,他们中的绝大多数则 会鼓励孩子自己站起来,并夸他真勇敢。小事情,大道理。从这一问题就可以窥视出中西方 对儿童教育方面的差异。我们先来看看外国父母是如何教育孩子的。他们崇尚并引导孩子独立。这种独立性包含许多方面。在金钱独立性方面,即使家财万 贯的父母也不会多给孩子一分钱,当然更不会出现任他们挥霍的情况了,他们希望孩子能自 己赚钱。这样做无非是想培养孩子良好的理财意识;而在情感独立性方面,他们和孩子的关 系不是亲人,更多的是朋友。朋友之间的谈话不

2、会有隔阂,有代沟。父母多半充当的是倾听 者和建议者;在人格独立性方面他们大多数情况下都不会成为“大家长主义”的实行者,他们 更愿意倾听孩子的心声,而不是“独裁”。当然,这只是中西方儿童教育的一个方面。而真正影响他们之后不同人生的是一个更关 键方面,就像一则广告对人”的解释:原先人与人是在同一水平面上的,而后差距却越来越 大。为什么会越来越大呢?而这其中的差距又是什么呢?我想,这其中之一就是思维方式的不同。记得有人说过这样一句话,外国人努力学习是为了 毕业,而中国人努力学习是为了进大学。这就导致了学习制度的不同,老师教育学生思维方 式的不同。有些人有新颖而独具创造力的思维,所以效率比别人快,效果

3、比别人好。思维方 式,特别是独具创造力的思维方式,就得从娃娃抓起。对孩子的教育,中国人采用说教式,即这是什么,这能干什么,你应该做什么,不应该 做什么以及应当怎样做。久而久之,养成了不动脑的习惯,因为凡事都有自己坚强的后盾” 嘛。即使做错了事,也有理由开脱:爸妈没教我,我不会!等到孩子成长到一定阶段,思维 在一定程度上有了定势,再想创新也比别人少了个“底子”啊。就如“地基没打牢,房子盖了 也是空壳”一样。马克思说过,“中国的祖先是早熟的儿童,而希腊的祖先才是正常的儿童”。对儿童教育方面 缺乏思考也与我们祖先有关。早在孔子时代,当古希腊祖先正在幻想美丽神话的时候,我们 的祖先就已经“成熟”起来,
