17、oom,he began to do homework.,A.entering B.to enter,C.enters D.enter,解析:选A。句意:一进房间,他就开始写作业。upon doing sth.“一就”,固定用法,故选A。语法精讲专项突破品味语法定语从句(一)一、定语从句的概述1.定义:什么是定语从句?定语从句是指在句子中起定语作用,修饰句中名词或代词的从句。分为限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句两种。讲解归纳2.两个重要术语:(1)先行词:被定语从句所修饰的名词或代词称为先行词,有时先行词是整个主句。定语从句一般紧跟在它修饰的先行词之后,as引导的定语从句有时位于定语从句之前。
18、(2)关系词:在先行词和定语从句之间起连接作用的词叫做关系词(可以这样理解:是这个词使得主句和定语从句有了关系),而关系词同时也代替了先行词在定语从句中充当成分,表达意义。关系词分为关系代词(that,which,who,whom,whose,as)和关系副词(when,where,why)二、关系代词引导的定语从句1.基本用法关系词先行词从句成分例句备注关系代词who人主语,宾语Do you know the man who is talking with your mother?你认识正和你母亲说话的人吗?whom,which和that在从句中作宾语时,常可以省略,但介词提前时后面关系代词

23、两个定语从句时,其中一个关系代词已用which,另外一个宜用that。They secretly built up a small factory which produced things that could cause pollution.他们秘密地建了一座小工厂,那里生产的东西可能带来污染。3.关系代词as的用法用法例句as引导定语从句时,在从句中既可作主语、宾语,又可作状语。as多和such,the same连用,它代替的先行词既可是人,又可是物或整个句子。Such books as I borrowed yesterday are all here.我昨天借的书都在这儿。(as作宾
