1、 Unit 5 Travelling abroad Period Two Pre-reading,reading & comprehending 教学设计及教案 教学设计理念及指导思想: 当前英语教育改革的重点是“要改变英语课程过分重视语法和词汇知识的讲解和传授,忽视对学生实际语言运用能力培养的倾向,强调课程从学生兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生综合语言运用能力,使语言学习过程成为学生形成积极的情感、态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程”(英语课程标准实验稿)。其核心理念是强调以学生为本,重视培育和

2、发展学生的主体性。任务型教学把学生的综合语言作为出发点和归宿,它要求老师首先让学生明白语言的意义,然后帮助学生学习语言的形式,即首先强调语言的流利性,再关注语言的准确性,形式与意义有机地结合起来,发展语言交际能力,包括说与写的能力、社会语言能力、语域能力、策略能力等。也就是说,学生在完成种种形式的任务过程中,他们的语言能力得到充分发展的同时,思维能力、主体性、跨文化交际能力等也得到了有效的培养。教学设计的背景分析:1.教学内容分析:本单元的中心话题是Travelling abroad“出国旅行”。课文始终围绕这一主题展开。具体涉及在国外学习、旅游等,语言知识和语言技能部分主要是围绕“旅游”这一

3、中心话题进行设计的。Pre-reading 部分设计了两个问题,第一个问题是开放性的,讨论出国学生的优点和缺点。可以让学生展开思维,阐述自己的观点,为正文的阅读作好知识上和心理上的铺垫,第二个问题要求学生预测阅读课文中的主人公在英国学习可能遇到的困难和英国学校学习与中国学校学习的不同。Reading部分介绍了主人公谢蕾第一次去国外求学进预科班时所面临的问题,以及房东和导师对她的帮助,使她大胆正视困难,迎接挑战,最终树立了信心。Comprehending部分的前两题是针对课文内容而设计的理解题目,后两题是对课文的升华与延伸,问题环环紧扣,耐人寻味。特别是第四小组讨论部分针对Pre-reading

4、中的What do you think she might find difficult?的问题进行进一步设计,而且采用了解决问题(Problem-solving)任务型活动,有助于学生探究能力的培养。本课话题新颖,内容贴近生活,通过学习可以扩充他们的词汇,扩大知识面,增加生活知识的积累,并使其听说能力得到进一步的训练。2. 学习者分析:高二学生已经有一定的英语语言和生活经验的积累,能够听懂课堂活动中接近高考听力要求语速、话题熟悉的语段,会用提供的句型描述一组动作或是表达自己的观点,有较丰富的小组合作学习的经验, 因此有利于完成教师设计的各种任务。三、 教学设计过程(一)教学设计思路 新课程改

5、革下的英语教学倡导“任务型”模式,本课整体任务细化为若干个小任务来执行,体现出以人为本、以应用为动力、以使用为目的、以运用为核心的教学途径,为学生提供更大地实践空间,使其更好地发挥主观性、创造性和积极性。 利用情景教学法,展开初始化教学,运用多媒体的动感效果给学生创设一个真实、易投入的学习环境,通过多媒体步步深入的演示和引导,逐步呈现出教学内容;以出国旅游为中心话题,通过看,听,说等途径,把语言的学习完全融入到完成任务的过程中,淡化语言学习的痕迹,让学生在不知不觉中学习语言,并帮助他们较好地完成任务或是表达自己,真正体会到在“做”中“学”的乐趣,从而鼓励他们接触更广泛、多样的英语世界。(二)T

(3)Using their imagination ,according to Xie Leis life and study in London ,write a short composition about a foreign student studying Chinese in China.3.Emotional aims 情感目标 Students will be able to learn the ability of

8、facing the difficulties,analyzing the reasons,overcoming and solving the prombles by themselves.Students also study hard and love our motherland to make our motherland become prosperous and strong.(三)Teaching strategies 教学策略设计兴趣活动教学策略:采用情景教学法,学生扮演角色等形式。开放性教学策略:新课标的理念之一是“开发课程资源,拓展学用渠道”。这要求我们学会开放性地处理教

9、材。在教学过程中,我们要适当借鉴其他教材的内容,插入大量学生感兴趣的图片和活动,拓宽学生的视野,实现知识的整合。任务型教学策略:任务型教学途径是以应用为动力、以使用为目的、以运用为核心的教学途径。所以教师在教学中应突出语言的应用性原则,把听说、讨论、表演贯穿于教学过程中,使课堂形式多样化,充分发挥学生的主动性。(四)Teaching important and difficult points 教学重难点 Students will be able to summarize the benefits and difficulties of living in a foreign country
