1、冠词用法点滴谈By:Jiang XiaozhaoDaguan Middle School冠词是放在名词前帮助说明名词含义的一种虚词，它不能单独使用。根据它本身所表达的含义分作两类：定冠词(the)和不定冠词(a / an)。a用到辅音音素前，an用到元音因素前。一、不定冠词的用法1.类别：A writing brush is made of bamboo and animal hair. What does a teacher do?2.表示（某一类中的）“一个” I saw a wallet on the street yesterday. 3. 单位词 “每（周等）” I went the

2、re twice a week4. 物质名词前有形容词修饰，描述特征“一场，一阵”a heavy rain, a strong wind5. 用到一些固定短语中定冠词（特指）的用法1.第二次提到“特指（某个）” I read a story yesterday. The story was very interesting. 2.后跟范围或地点限制“特指（某地点）” The students on the playground are playing football.3. 用在形容词最高级和序数词之前. 如: The Changjiang River is the longest river

3、 in China.4. 交际用语里边，双方都清楚的所指对象“特指 Close the window. Who is the boy sitting there? How beautiful the flowers are!5. 用在一定范围独一无二的一类名词前如: the sun the world the teachers desk 6. 用在复数形式的姓氏前, 表示一家人，谓语动词用复数形式。 如:The Wangs have moved to Beijing. 王家已搬到北京了。7. 有普通名词great, house, white, wall等合成的专有名词，前用the the Gr

4、eat Wall, the White House, the United Sates8. 江、河、湖、海、山“山水”等前用the the yellow river, the dead sea9.“乐器”前 play the piano, play the violin10. 方向，一天的几段时间 in the east,on the left,11. 某些形容词前加the构成名词化的形容词. 如: the young 年轻人 the old 老人Do you understand?不用冠词的几种情况：物质、抽象名词表示“类别”时，不用冠词。 Water is important to us.

5、当表示“特指”时，要用定冠词。如：The water in the bottle is clean.在人名、称呼、国家名前一般不用冠词。如： David, Mr, China. 星期、月份、季节、节日前，不使用冠词。（有定语时，季节前加the）in September/ on Sunday/in spring /in the spring of last year.在三餐、球类运动、棋类游戏电视、语言、学科前不出现冠词。如：have lunch./ watch TV / learn maths/ play games/play cards/ speak English世界政区中的大洲，国名，省

6、市，路桥，公园，广场前不用冠词。Europe, China, Henan, Changan street ,Beihai Park, Tiananmen Square副词的最高级和序数词放到动词后作表语时，不用冠词。如：Who ran fastest of all? /Who was fist(last)?一些介词词组中，不使用冠词。如： at school, in class, after school, in bed , at work, in town, at home, at night, by bike, on foot，in hospital 名词前有物主代词、指示代词、不定代词或
