7、ke is the piston movement from TDC to BDC or from BDC to TDC.The 4 piston strokes are intake, compression, power (ignition, firing) and exhaust.Intake Stroke: The intake valve opens, piston goes down, the petrol/air mixture enters into the cylinder.Compression Stroke: After the piston reaches BDC, t

8、he inlet valve closes.The revolving crankshaft pushes the piston up again.The mixture is compressed upward into the combustion chamber.Power Stroke: As the piston reaches TDC, an electric spark is produced at the spark plug, this ignites the mixture.The heat from the explosion causes high pressure o

9、n the top of the piston, and itll go down again.Exhaust Stroke: As the piston reaches BDC, the exhaust valve opens.During the up-stroke the products of combustion are pushed past the valve and out of the engine.Then, when the piston reaches TDC, the exhaust valve closes and the intake valve opens ag

12、(Automatic Transmission)自动变速器2.自动变速器的挡位一般分为P、R、N、D、2、1或L等。(1)P(Parking):停车挡。(2)R(Reverse):倒挡。(3)N(Neutral):空挡。(4)D(Drive):前进挡。由于不同车型有不同的设计,所以“D”挡一般包括从1挡至高挡或者2挡至高挡,并因车速及负荷的变化而自动换挡。将拨杆放置在“D”挡上,驾驶者只需控制油门踏板就可以控制车速了。 (5)2(Second Gear):前进挡。变速器只能在1挡、2挡之间变换,不会跳到3挡和4挡。 (6)1(First Gear):前进挡。变速器只能在1挡内工作,不能变换到其
