About 10 years ago, because of the increasing demand for Chinese dishes from many Chinese people in this city, Zhou decided to open a Chinese restaurant there. The restaurant is named Xinjiang Restaurant Zhua Fun. It offers about 200 Chinese dishes. They

3、 are mainly traditional Xinjiang dishes, including fresh noodles, fried fish and some other dishes cooked in hot oil. Many Chinese customers come here to enjoy the dishes. To Zhous surprise, Chinese food is also gaining popularity among Ethiopians.Hermela Fanna is one of a growing number of Ethiopia

6、e, noodles, and different kinds of chicken foods are making their way to the favorite food list of more people.Teenager Makes Movies Fun for Deaf ChildrenBecause of COVID-19, many people had to stay at home. Some people baked bread, some played computer games and some read. What about 17-year-old Ma

7、riella Satow? She not only learned American Sign Language (ASL), but also created an app that provides on-screen sign language for Disney movies. Thanks to the app, now deaf Disney fans can enjoy Disney movies fully.Mariella started learning ASL in 2020. She wanted to use television shows as learnin

8、g materials, but she found that few of them offered on-screen sign language. After further research, she discovered that deaf people, especially deaf children, were not able to fully enjoy movies. Then she decided to change it. Using the money she made from dog-walking, she worked with ASL experts a

9、nd the deaf community to create Signllp.Users can download the free app by searching SignUp“ in the Google Chrome Extension store. Since it came out, a great many people have visited the website. Many parents of deaf children have used it and shared their love of the app. They are happy to see that

In the past, these differences were mainly about clothes or music. Nowadays, however, differences in the use of technology are also creating a g

Computers, the Internet, e-mails, smartphones and text messaging are all part of their everyday lives.But how does this create the generation gap? Well, young people today are sometimes call

13、ed “digital natives because they are “native speakers of the new language of computers and the Internet. In the same way, old people are called digital immigrants”. They grew up without digital technology and now have to learn this new “digital language. Scientists think that when a language is lear

This means that young and old people think and process information differently because their brains are organized in different ways.As teenagers are more likely to use lots of different technologies in their daily lives, they can often d

15、o three things at the same time. A study discovered that most teenagers can fit 44 hours of activity into just one day! Teenagers are better at multitasking than their parents because their brains are organized differently.So the next time your mom doesnt understand how you can talk on your phone, u

Life used to be hard for her. It was not until last year; after she to

17、ok part in a reality show and became a restaurant server, that her situation began to improve greatly.The restaurant in Shanghai where she works is Forget Me Not Cafe, which has the same name as the reality show. The restaurant shares the reality shows goal of providing job opportunities for elderly

18、 people who have cognitive impairment.The cafe has eight elderly employees with cognitive impairment who take turns working with other employees to help customers. zzl provide basic services for guests, such as pouring water, serving and taking orders. Other elderly people with cognitive impairment are also invited.Because of memory loss, Zhu takes notes of all the information she wants to remember, such as the names of the volunteers and th

With products from self-powered devices to smart contact lenses, the future wearable devices are set to change our lives in exciting ways.Self-powered devices use your body to provide energy.
