主谓一致谓语动词与主语必须在人称和数上保持一致，这叫做主谓一致。主谓一致的应用主要有以下几种情况:1.集体名词作主语，如果指整体概念,谓语动词用单数形式:如果指具体成员，谓语动词用复数形式。常见的这类名词有:army,audience,class,crowd,crew,family,group,government,population,staff,team,public等。Thepopulationoftheearthisincreasingveryfast.Onethirdofthepopulationhereareworkers.Theteamiswellorganized.Theteamareallgoodplayers.2.有些有生命的集体名词如people,cattle，police，mankind[人类;（统称）男人],folk(人们)等作主语时，谓语动词只用复数形式。Thepolicehavenotmade(notmake)anyarrestssincethen.Themankindlong(long)forpeace.[温馨提示]people表示“民族”时有单复数形式，但表示“人，人民”时为复数意义，不可加S。3.单复数同形的名词作主语时，谓语形式要根据句义来确定。常见的这类名词有:deer,fish,sheep,species(物种；种类),series(系列片，系列节目),means(方法，手段)，aircraft,
