(1)陈述句that,可省略。Hesaid(that)itwascoldinMoscow.Motherknows(that)Jimwillworkhard.

(2)一般疑问句whether/ifIwanttoknowif/whethertheanswerisright.Lucyaskedif/whethertheyhadacheapershirt.

(3)特殊疑问句用原来的疑问词Couldyoutellmewherethepostofficeis?从句的时态若主句是一般现在时、一般将来时或祈使句时，宾语从句根据句子的意义使用需要的时态。

Wedon’tknowwhohasbrokenthewindow.Butwewillfindoutwhohasdonethat.

(2)若主句是一般过去时，宾语从句要用相应的某种过去时态，如一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时或过去完成时。Theteacherasked:WhatisMikedoing?TheteacheraskedwhatMikewasdoing.

(3)若宾语从句叙述的是客观真理或永恒不变的规律，则应采用一般现在时，不受主句时态的限制。Ourteachersaidthattheearthmovesroundthesun.(4)特殊情况：如果宾语从句中有明确表示过去的时间状语，不论主句用什么时态，从句一律用过去时。如：

Theteachertoldusthatthewarbrokeoutinthewinterof1923.

从句语序：宾语从句部分要用陈述语序。宾语从句的简化：当从句主语与主句主语或间接宾语一致时，可简化为“连接代词/副词＋不定式”结构。CanyoutellmehowIcangettothestation？→Canyoutellmehowtogettothestation？5.用whether不用if的场合:(1)句首用whether。如：Whetherhewillcomeisstillaquestion.

(2)引导表语从句时。如：Thequestioniswhetherweshouldgoonwiththework.

(3)用于不定式之前时。如：Ididn’tknowwhethertolaughortocry.

(4)用于介词之后时。如：Itdependsonwhethertheletterarrivesintime./IworryaboutwhetherIhurtherfeelings.

(5)直接与ornot连用时。如：IwillwritetoyouwhetherornotIcancome.注：若不是直接与ornot用在一起可用if。6.宾语从句的否定转移当主句的谓语动词为

think,guess,suppose,believe
