一、教材对象分析本节课授课对象为高一下学生。经过初中三年的学习,高一学生已具备一定的英语学习能力,有一定的语言知识和技能的积累。因本校学生英语基础较薄弱,英语自主阅读能力较差,所以在授课过程中应更加注意对课堂节奏的把握和对学生的引导,在扫除词汇障碍的基础上,进一步帮助学生理解课文,感悟作者的写作风格,并运用所学知识表达自己的观点。

二、教学内容分析人教版《高中英语3[必修模块]》Unit3TheMillionPoundBankNote的主要内容是由美国作家马克•吐温的短篇小说《百万英镑》改编而成的戏剧剧本。本单元包括其中两篇戏剧文本:第一幕,第三场和第四场。本节课的教学内容是剧本的第一幕,第四场(Act1,Scene4)。讲述了衣衫褴褛的流浪汉亨利•亚当斯到餐馆用餐先遭冷遇,而后由于拿出了一张百万英镑的大钞又备受关照的有趣故事。作者用诙谐的笔调讽刺了资本主义社会拜金主义者的丑陋嘴脸。本节课课型为阅读课,在引导学生预测、欣赏剧情的基础上,通过反复阅读戏剧文本,并观看视频,使学生进一步了解故事情节的发展;在深入分析文本内容的基础上,引导学生通过人物语言探究人物心理及其态度转变,运用所学知识表达自己的观点,升华主题:金钱不是万能的,不可以貌取人。本节课的教学重点在于培养学生的自主阅读能力,运用不同的阅读技巧来完成不同的阅读任务,了解戏剧剧本、体会戏剧冲突、分析人物心理,进而表达自己的观点。
