ZhalongisanaturereserveinHeilongjianginnorth-eastChina.Itisoneoftheworld’smostimportantwetlands.Theareaprovidesfoodandshelterforwildlife.Itisanidealhomefordifferentkindsofplants,fishandbirds.ManybirdslivecomfortablyinZhalongNatureReserveallyearround,whilesomeonlystaythereforashorttime.Therearemanyfishinthewetlands,andthebirdscaneasilycatchthemforfood.ZhalongNatureReserveisanimportantlivingareafortherarered-crownedcranes.Therearenotmanyred-crownedcranesintheworld.SomeofthemliveinZhalong.Somepeoplewanttochangethewetlandstomakemorespaceforfarmsandbuildings.Thismeanstherewillbelessandlessspaceforwildlife.
