Abstract:

Objective:Thepurposeofthisarticleistoexploretheapplicationvalueandprogressofmagneticresonancedelayenhancementscaninthediagnosisandevaluationoflungcancerbrainmetastasis.

Methods:Thebasicprinciples,technicalcharacteristics,andexaminationmethodsofmagneticresonancedelayenhancementscanningareelaborated.Intheformofliteratureanalysis,theapplicationandprogressofmagneticresonancedelayenhancementscanninginthediagnosisandevaluationoflungcancerbrainmetastasisaresummarized.Andtheadvantagesanddisadvantagesofitsdiagnosisandevaluationarediscussed.

Results:Magneticresonancedelayenhancementscanningcansignificantlyimprovethedetectionrate,localizationaccuracy,anddisplayofperipheraledemaoflungcancerbrainmetastasis.Thistechnologycaneffectivelydistinguishbetweenmalignantandbenignbraintumors,andcaneffectivelyevaluatethepathologicaltype,size,location,andmorphologicalcharacteristicsofbrainlesions.Althoughthistechnologyhasbeenwidelyused,therearestilllimitations,suchasvolumeeffectandinterferencesignal.

Anotherpromisingapproachistheuseofliquidbiopsies,whichinvolvetheanalysisofbloodorcerebrospinalfluidtodetecttumor-specificmolecules,suchascirculatingtumorcells,circulatingtumorDNA,andexosomes.Liquidbiopsiesofferseveraladvantagesovertraditionaltissuebiopsies,includingminimalinvasiveness,theabilitytosamplemultiplesitesatdifferenttimes,andthepotentialforreal-timemonitoringoftumorprogressionandresponsetotreatment.

Furthermore,innovativetreatmentstrategiesarebeingdevelopedtotargetlungcancerbrainmetastasis,suchastargetedtherapies,immunotherapies,andcombinationtherapies.Targetedtherapiesaredrugsthatcanpreciselytargetthespecificmolecularalterationsthatdrivetumorgrowthandsurvival,whilesparingnormalcells.Immunotherapiesharnessthepoweroftheimmunesystemtorecognizeandeliminatecancercells,andhaveshownpromisingresultsintreatinglungcancerbrainmetastasis.

Combinationtherapiesinvolvetheuseofmultipletreatments,suchaschemotherapyandradiationtherapy,toattackcancercellsfromdifferentanglesandovercomedrugresistance.Inaddition,noveltreatmentstrategiesarebeingexplored,suchasoncolyticviruses,whicharevirusesthataredesignedtoinfectandkillcancercells,andgenetherapies,whichinvolvethedeliveryoftherapeuticgenestotumorcellstoinducetumorcelldeathorenhanceimmuneresponse.
