TheServicePanelBoard(SPB)isthemanmachineinterfaceoftheTractionControlBoard(TCB)whichislocatedinthelandingdoorframe(E&IPanel)ofmachineroomless

elevators(GIEN99/GN2).Itisusedtoperformdiagnosisandrescueoperationsofasinglecar.

ThecommunicationwiththeTCBwillbedoneviatheServiceToolInterfaceandthe

RemoteSerialLink(RSL).

Onboardcircuitsallowinterfacingtospeed/direction-encoderanddoorzoneinformationsignals.

Two9polesSub-DconnectorsareprovidedforcommunicationServiceTool/TCB,MCB_II.

BatteryChargeandauxiliaryREMboxfunctionsareintegrated.

TheRSLisusedforthepowersupplyoftheSPB.

TheSPBisavailableinonlyoneassemblyversion:GAA26800BB.

TheServicePanelBoard(SPB)countsthepositionattherisingedgeofDZ.ItusestheSpeedDirectionIndicator(SDI)informationtodeterminewhetherthepositioniscountedupwardordownwards.

EachtimetheTractionControlBoard(TCB)sendsavalidpositioninformation,theSPBadjustsitsownpositioninformation.Thisensuresthatbothpositionswillnotdiffer.

CarSpeedandDirectionIndicator

Thecurrentcarspeed,directionandthedoorzoneindicator(DZI)aredisplayedattheSPBinnormalmodeandinbatterymode(i.e.thede-energizedelevatorismovedbyliftingthebrake).Thedisplayconsistsof8greenLED´sforupwardsdirectionand8redLED´sfordownwardsdirection.

AllSPBconfigurationparametersarestoredontheTCB.AteachTCBstartuptheyarecopiedtotheSPBandstoredinanE2PROMontheSPBiftheyhavechanged.TheSPBconfigurationparameterscanbechangedonsiteusingtheSVTintheTCBconfigurationparametersetupmenu.

Duringalearnrunofthedrive(thelearnrunisfortheTCBauncontrolledrun)thebuzzersoundsforthedurationofthelearnrun.

ItmustbeensuredthatthebuzzerdoesnotsoundduringNormalorInspectionruns.ThereforetheTCBsendsaBuzzerDisablemessagewhenacontrolledrunwillfollow.Thebuzzerwillbedisableduntilthecarstopsagain.

CommunicationCheck

TheTCBsendstheCOM-OKMessageevery2secondssothattheSPBcandetectwhethertheSVT-communicationisproperlyworking.

TheSPBsendsaRSL-CheckMessageevery2secondswhichmustbeansweredwithin2secondsbyTCB.ThisenablesSPBtodetectwhethertheRSLcommunicationisfunctioning.
