(1)此句型表示"某人正在做某事,这时(突然)…",句中when作并列连词,连接

两个并列分句,前一分句通常用过去进行时,后一分句通常用一般过去时。

(2)when表示"这时/那时(突然)"时,相当于andthen,andjustthen或andatthat

time。when可与suddenly连用以加强语气。在此用法中when不能用while替换。

(1)"as.…as…"意为"像/和…一样……",表示同级比较,两个as之间通常使用

形容词或副词的原级。第一个as为副词,第二个as为连词,后面的从句为比较状

语从句。"as…as.…"的否定形式为"notas/so…as.…"(不如……那样……)。

(1)“as.…as…”结构中,第二个as引导的比较状语从句中常省去与主句相同的

部分,只留下相比较的部分。

(2)”as…as…“结构中,第二个as引导的比较状语从句常用助动词或情态动词

的某种形式代替与主句相同的谓语部分。
