Language形容词是用来修饰名词或名次短语的一般放在名词之前，在句中作定语，表语或宾语补足语。ThefamousmanisBillGatesHawaiiisbeautiful.Don’tgetyourclothesdirty.副词用来修饰动词，形容词和其他的副词或全句。主要用来说明时间，地点，程度，方式等。副词可以作状语，表语或定语。Hehasjustfinishedhishomework.Heisnotin.Peoplenearbytalkedwitheachother.单音节词以及少数以y,er,ow,le，结尾的双音节词加–er,-est(以e结尾的只加-r,-st）.long–longer—longest/clever-cleverer-cleverest/late—later--latest重读闭音节，双写最后一个辅音字母，再加-er,-est.thin-thinner-thinnest/fat-fatter-fattest以辅音字母y结尾的，先把y改为i再加-er，-est.early—earlier—earliest/noisy—noisier—noisiest

大部分双音节词和多音节词，再词前加more，most表示比较级和最高级。careful–morecareful–mostcareful/interesting–moreinteresting—mostinteresting不规则词变化：
