Eco-drivingisarangeofeverydaypracticesthatallowthemotoristtooptimisetheirfuelconsumptionandCO2emissions.

Optimisetheuseofyour

gearbox

Withamanualgearbox,moveoffgentlyandchangeupwithoutwaiting.Duringaccelerationchangeupearly.

WithanETGgearbox,givepreferencetoautomaticmode(Easy)andavoidpressingtheacceleratorpedalheavilyorsuddenly.

Thegearshiftindicatorinvitesyoutoengagethemostsuitablegear:assoonastheindicationisdisplayedintheinstrumentpanel,followitstraightaway.

ForvehiclesfittedwithanETGgearbox,thisindicatoronlyappearsinmanualmode.

Drivesmoothly

Maintainasafedistancebetweenvehicles,useenginebrakingratherthanthe

brakepedal,andpresstheacceleratorprogressively.ThesepracticescontributetowardsareductioninfuelconsumptionandCO2emissionsandalsohelpreducethebackgroundtrafficnoise.

Controltheuseofyourelectrical

equipment

Beforemovingoff,ifthepassengercompartmentistoowarm,ventilateitbyopeningthewindowsandairventsbeforeusingtheairconditioning.

Above30mph(50km/h),closethewindowsandleavetheairventsopen.

Considerusingequipmentthatcanhelpkeepthetemperatureinthepassengercompartmentdown(sunroofandwindowblinds…).

Unlessithasautomaticregulation,switchofftheairconditioningassoonasthedesiredtemperaturehasbeenreached.

Switchoffthedemistinganddefrosting
